The Sealing Time and Latter Rain is Happening NOW!

THE GATHERING OF THE REMNANT AFTER 1844 A.D.

Ezek 37:16 Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions:

Ezek 37:17 And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.
...
Ezek 37:21 And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:

Ezek 37:22 And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:

1 Ki 17:12 And she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.

1 Ki 17:13 And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.

1 Ki 17:14 For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth. [The two sticks are the remnant, the oil is the Holy Spirit, the flour is the Gospel, the three angel's message, and the rain is the latter rain. Zarephath means to refine.]
1 Pet 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

1 Pet 2:10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

(Because we now worship God in Spirit and in truth...we no longer worship the strange trinity of Gods...or other false gods)

Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

"After the truth has been proclaimed as a witness to all nations, every conceivable power of evil will be set in operation, and minds will be confused by many voices crying, “Lo, here is Christ; lo, He is there. This is the truth, I have the message from God, He has sent me with great light.” Then there will be a removing of the landmarks, and an attempt to tear down the pillars of our faith. A more decided effort will be made to exalt the false sabbath, and to cast contempt upon God Himself by supplanting the day He has blessed and sanctified. This false sabbath is to be enforced by an oppressive law.

Satan and his angels are wide awake and intensely active, working with energy and perseverance through human instrumentalities to bring about his purpose of obliterating from the minds of men the knowledge of God. But while Satan works with his lying wonders, the time will be fulfilled foretold in the Revelation, and the mighty angel that shall lighten the earth with his glory will proclaim the fall of Babylon, and call upon God’s people to forsake her. (The Review and Herald, December 13, 1892). S.D.A. BIBLE COMMENTARY VOL. 7, PAGE 985

"We must not wait for the latter rain.  It is coming upon all who will recognize and appropriate the dew and showers of grace that fall upon us. When we gather up the fragments of light, when we appreciate the sure mercies of God, who loves to have us trust Him, then every promise will be fulfilled. [Isaiah 61:11 quoted.] The whole earth is to be filled with the glory of God (Letter 151, 1897).

"Only those who are living up to the light they have will receive greater light.  Unless we are daily advancing in the exemplification of the active Christian virtues, we shall not recognize the manifestations of the Holy Spirit in the latter rain.  It may be falling on hearts all around us, but we shall not discern or receive it." Testimonies to Ministers, p 507 (R&H March 2, 1897).

So God tells all of His people that the Holy Spirit in latter rain power could now be falling on hearts all around, but many would not recognize, discern or receive it.  Why?  Why does it take recognition and discernment before you can receive the latter rain?

"I have no specific time of which to speak when the outpouring of the Holy Spirit will take place--when the mighty angel will come down from heaven..." Bible Commentary, vol 7, p 984 (Review and Herald, March 29, 1892).

(Jeremiah 30:7; Hosea 6:3; Joel 2:23; Zechariah 10:1; Ephesians 4:13, 15.) Refreshing of the Latter Rain—As the members of the body of Christ approach the period of their last conflict, “the time of Jacob’s trouble,” they will grow up into Christ, and will partake largely of His Spirit. As the third message swells to a loud cry, and as great power and glory attend the closing work, the faithful people of God will partake of that glory. It is the latter rain which revives and strengthens them to pass through the time of trouble. Their faces will shine with the glory of that light which attends the third angel. (The Review and Herald, May 27, 1862).

Jesus said, "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness but shall have the light of life." John 8:12. "We shall be guided as with a light from heaven when we have a vital connection with God." Signs of the Times, August 22, 1895. But, "it is an easy matter to idle away, talk and play away the Holy Spirit’s influence." To "walk in the light is to keep moving onward in the direction of light." 1888 Materials, 1211.

“Just as soon as the people of God are sealed in their foreheads—it is not any seal or mark that can be seen, but
a settling into the truth, both intellectually and spiritually, so they cannot be moved—just as soon as God’s people are sealed and prepared for the shaking, it will come.” 4BC 1161.

“The Lord has shown me that precious souls are starving, and dying for want of the present, sealing truth, the
meat in due season; and that the swift messengers should speed on their way, and feed the flock with the present
truth. I heard an Angel say, ‘speed the swift messengers, speed the swift messengers; for the case of every soul will soon be decided, either for Life, or for Death.’ “ The Present Truth, vol. 1, No. 4.

“Let us strive with all the power that God has given us to be among the hundred and forty-four thousand.”  Review
and Herald, March 9, 1905   More on the Sealing here: http://www.sdarm.org/pub_data/books/sealing.pdf

"Those who follow in the light need have no anxiety lest that in the outpouring of the latter rain they will not be baptized with the Holy Spirit. If we would receive the light of the glorious angel that shall lighten the earth with his glory, let us see to it that our hearts are cleansed, emptied of self, and turned toward heaven, that they may be ready for the latter rain. Let us be obtaining a fitting up to join in the proclamation of the angel who shall lighten the earth with his glory [the loud cry]. Let us be colaborers with Christ. Now is the time for us to let self die, to crucify the flesh, with the affections and lusts, to deny the cravings of appetite and passion. The minds of many are channels for impure thoughts. They do not have a realizing sense of the offensive character of sin. I call upon you to clear the King’s highway." Signs of the Times, August 1, 1892.

"I looked over the large congregation assembled in the tent, and thought, If all who have a knowledge of the truth were carrying its sanctifying influence into their home-life . . . But all here—ministers, parents, and children—needed a work done for them which they did not realize. There was a manifest lack of the Spirit of God. I hoped to see the clouds break; for I knew many would never see their true spiritual condition until they should begin to return unto the Lord with full purpose of heart, with repentance, and confession of sins. Some even of those who were preaching the word were as destitute of the Spirit of God as were the mountains of Gilboa of dew and rain." Review and Herald, October 21, 1884.

"I was shown that God’s people dwell too much under a cloud. It is not the will of God for His people to live in unbelief." Spiritual Gifts, vol. 4, 148.

The reason that some are under a cloud is because of carelessness in Sabbath-keeping: "Although they may rest from physical toil upon the Sabbath, their tongues speak out what is in their minds; hence these words concerning cattle, crops, losses, and gains. All this is Sabbath breaking. . . . Ministers . . .should kindly and solemnly reprove those who engage in worldly conversation upon the Sabbath and at the same time claim to be Sabbathkeepers . . . the angels were turning from those who failed to appreciate the sacredness of God’s sanctified day, and were removing from them their light and their strength. I saw them overshadowed with a cloud, desponding, and frequently sad. They felt a lack of the Spirit of God."Testimonies, vol. 2, 703–705.

Others are under a cloud because of lack of faith, habits of negative thinking, anxiety and depression. (See Messages to Young People, 363.) We must all come out from under these clouds if we are to receive the latter rain. "We cannot exert a correct influence when we are under a cloud of anxiety and depression. We must reach out the hand of faith, and grasp the hand of our Redeemer. We must not wait for the latter rain. It is coming upon all who will recognize and appropriate the dew and showers of grace that fall upon us. When we gather up the fragments of light, when we appreciate the sure mercies of God, who loves to have us trust Him, then every promise will be fulfilled." Manuscript Releases, vol. 1, 177. Revelation 20:4, "And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years."

Below is a response to an email asking who are the 144,000. It's a brief rundown:

This is speaking of the people that will be standing in the "Time of Jacob's trouble" after the plagues start. The Bible calls them the 144,000. You may have heard me call them the "Gideon band" on occasion. They are trusted by God to be able to stand during the plagues perfectly, wherein the other Christians that were too weak to stand in such a trying time, but are still worthy of Heaven, they will have to die a martyrs death. Reason being is, they are not strong enough to handle the way the people of the world will treat them or their loved ones during the plagues. They would fall into sin for a multitude of reasons we as Christians cannot comprehend clearly enough to comment on. But the Lord does know exactly what will happen. He loves them so much, He actually allows them to die before that day comes so they will not be destroyed by Satan. They will resurrect when Jesus returns to gain their eternal reward. Many of these dear souls die via the guillotines of course.

Those who die in the three angels messages WILL be raised up prior to the second Advent in order to witness Jesus coming in the clouds of Heaven!
  • Revelation 20:4, "And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years."

By the way, there are already 30,000 guillotines on U.S. soil right now! When the plagues start, judgment is DONE. This is why Jesus says at that exact time in Heaven just before He returns to earth, "He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still." (Revelation 22:11) In other words, those that are without Christ and wicked, (unjust / filthy) these will remain that way when Jesus speaks these final words.

However, those that are true Christians and capable of proving to the Universe that God can and has created a people that will trust in Him even in intense times, (the 144,000) these will remain holy and without sin from this day forward. (righteous / holy) Satan will not be able to tempt them anymore. They proved themselves worthy in their loves leading up to this day. Therefore their faith is blessed to allow them to stand during the plagues when God's wrath falls upon mankind. Whoever is called to stand during these days, will stop preaching to try and get people to find Jesus. Once the plagues start, no one will be able to be saved anymore and no one that is saved will be lost. Whoever is unjust remains that way, and whoever is holy remains that way. Reason being, judgment ended on that day and now the "reward" for their sins is upon the wicked in the way of plagues, and finally death. Our reward will be at the end of the plagues when Jesus gives us new bloodless spirit bodies and eternal life. It is now that we can and must strive to be sinless-- sinless like Jesus.

  • Zechariah 3:3-4, "Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel. And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment."

Robes, raiment, or clothing in prophecy = your walk. That's what it means when it says we are cleansed from all unrighteousness in 1 John 1:9. In fact, He forgives us so perfectly that He even forgets what we sinned. It says in Micah 7:19, "He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea."

Now is this mighty angel quiet when he is poured out from heaven?  No, because He cries mightily with a strong voice, or a loud cry (see Testimonies, vol 8, p 118), declaring the fall of Babylon.  So when the Holy Spirit is poured out, or the latter rain has come, He brings the beginning of the loud cry.  It is very important to realize this.  When the Holy Spirit is poured out in the latter rain, He brings the beginning of the loud cry of Revelation 18, and the whole earth is lightened with God's glory.  But can the outpouring of the latter rain be in connection with truth?  If so, what truth is it connected with?

"The whole earth is to be lightened with the glory of God's truth.  The Lord will not close up the period of probation until the warning shall be more distinctly proclaimed.  The trumpet must give a certain sound.  The law of God is to be magnified, its claims must be presented in their true, sacred character, that the people may be brought to decide for or against the truth.  Yet the work will be cut short in righteousness.  The message of Christ's righteousness is to sound from one end of the world to the other.  This is the glory of God which closes the work of the third angel." Last Day Events from the Letters and Manuscripts of E.G. White, p 179 (Letter 2c, 1892).

"When the truth in its simplicity is lived in every place, then God will work through His angels as He worked on the day of Pentecost, and hearts will be changed so decidedly that there will be a manifestation of the influence of genuine truth, as is represented in the descent of the Holy Spirit." Special Testimonies, Series B#7, p 63.

What was "represented" at Pentecost when the Holy Spirit was poured out?  A "manifestation of the influence of genuine truth."

"'He [the Holy Spirit] shall glorify Me [Jesus].'  'This is eternal life, that they might know Thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.'  The Holy Spirit glorifies God by so revealing His character to His people that He becomes the object of their supreme affections and by making manifest His character in them.  They see clearly that there was never any righteousness in the world but His, no excellence in the world but that derived from Him.  When the Spirit was poured out from on High [at Pentecost] the church was flooded with light, but Christ was the source of that light; His name was on every tongue, His love filled every heart.  So it will be when that angel that comes down from heaven having great power, shall lighten the earth with his glory.  May the Lord help His people to see and understand what is truth." 1888 Materials, volume 3, p 1017 (Letter 25b, August 30, 1892).

When the Holy Spirit was poured out in early rain power at Pentecost, the church was flooded with light that centered in Jesus.  And what is going to happen when the latter rain falls today?  Again His people will be flooded with light, and Christ will be the source and center of that light.

"I stated [at the 1888 General Conference Session] that...there was to be special light for God's people as they neared the closing scenes of this earth's history.  Another angel was to come down from heaven with a message, and the whole earth was to be lighted with his glory." Last Day Events from the Letters and Manuscripts of E.G. White, p 64 (Letter 22, January 18, 1889).

So the latter rain was to fall "with a message."  What message?  The righteousness of Christ– the beginning of the loud cry!

"Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: For it is time to seek the Lord, till He come and rain righteousness upon you." Hosea 10:12.

Why is the outpouring of the Holy Spirit connected with the message of truth centering in Jesus?

"The only channel through which the Spirit operates is that of the truth." Selected Messages, book 2, p 49.

The only channel through which the Spirit could be poured out in latter rain power is that of "the truth."  So the latter rain was to fall with a message of truth, and that message is the righteousness of Christ.

Now since the message of the righteousness of Christ began about the year 1888, then that means that the Holy Spirit could fall with that precious message at any time!  That is why God stated that it could now be falling on hearts all around.  This means that it was already time for the latter rain to fall!  Do you really understand this point?  It was already time for the latter rain to fall, and it is still time now!  We do not have to wait for it to fall in the future, such as at the Sunday Law, because it is time now!

"The descent of the Holy Spirit upon the church is looked forward to as being in the future, but it is the privilege of the church to have it now." Last Day Events, from the Letters and Manuscripts of E.G. White, p 61 (Letter 15, June 25, 1892).

In fact, there were some who were already enjoying the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the refreshing!

"...the very time when that church was receiving the outpouring of the Spirit of God...[and] is enjoying a season of refreshing..." Testimonies to Ministers, p 23 (Review and Herald, October 17, 1893).

The same is available for today!  God's followers can have the Holy Spirit  (JESUS) in latter rain power NOW!  Not later, but now!  Therefore no one needs to look into the future for the time for the latter rain to begin, because you can have it now!

"Let us, with contrite hearts, pray most earnestly that now, in the time of the latter rain, the showers of spiritual grace may fall upon us....It is the time of the latter rain, when the Lord will give largely of His Holy Spirit." Testimonies to Ministers, p 509, 512 (R&H March 2, 1897).

Dear readers, it is time now for the latter rain to fall!  And it has already begun to fall!  Please let this sink into your understanding, and do not allow the devil to snatch this truth away from you!  Do not allow Satan, through any ministry, or any minister, elder, pastor, or any other human being, to mislead you into believing that the latter rain can only fall in the future, because God says that it is time now!

If this is really true, and the latter rain was already falling over 100 years ago, why are we still here?  The only reason why we are still here today is because the SDA church turned her back on this realization, mocked at the idea that the latter rain could be falling then, and instead ridiculed, criticized, slighted, and rejected the message of Christ’s righteousness (see Selected Messages, book 1, p 234-235; Testimonies to Ministers, p 467-468).  And in doing so, they rejected the latter rain, rejected the Holy Spirit, and thereby crucified Christ afresh!

"The Lord God, who dwelleth in the holy place, sees every soul that shows contempt for the manifestations of his Holy Spirit.  God has revealed himself again and again in a most marked manner in Battle Creek.  He has given a large measure of his Holy Spirit to the believers there.  It has come unexpectedly at times, and there have been deep movings upon hearts and minds...This blessing extended to large numbers...Some felt annoyed at this outpouring, and their own natural dispositions were manifested.  They said, 'This is only excitement; it is not the Holy Spirit, not showers of the latter rain from heaven.'  There were hearts full of unbelief, who did not drink in of the Spirit, but who had bitterness in their souls.

"On many occasions the Holy Spirit did work; but those who resisted the Spirit of God at Minneapolis were waiting for a chance to travel over the same ground again, because their spirit was the same....But all the universe of heaven witnessed the disgraceful treatment of Jesus Christ, represented by the Holy Spirit.  Had Christ been before them, they would have treated him in a manner similar to that in which the Jews treated Christ....

"The Lord is coming; but those who venture to resist the light that God gave in rich measure at Minneapolis, who have not humbled their hearts before God, will follow on in the path of resistance, saying, 'Who is the Lord that I should obey his voice?'  The banner all will bear who voice the message of the third angel, is being covered with another color that virtually kills it.  This is being done.  Will our people now hold fast to the truth?" Series A, #6, p 19-20, 26.

Not only did the SDA church leadership disgracefully treat the Holy Spirit which is Christ, but they went even farther than this wickedness.  The SDA church leaders told the “Holy” Spirit of Christ to go away, bolted the doors of the SDA church so that He could not get back in, and then told Him not to come back until they called for Him!

"Had thorough work been done during the last General Conference at Battle Creek; had there been as God designed there should be, a breaking up of the fallow ground of the heart, by the men who had been bearing responsibilities; had they, in humility of soul, led out in the work of confession and consecration; had they given evidence that they received the counsels and warnings sent by the Lord to correct their mistakes, there would have been one of the greatest revivals that they has been since the day of Pentecost.

"What a wonderful work could have been done for the vast company gathered in Battle Creek at the General Conference of 1901, if the leaders of our work had taken themselves in hand.  But the  work that all heaven was waiting to do as soon as men prepared the way, was not done; for the leaders closed and bolted the door against the Spirit’s entrance.  There was a stopping short of entire surrender to God.  And hearts that might have been purified from all error were strengthened in wrong doing.  The doors were barred against the heavenly current that would have swept away all evil.  Men left their sins unconfessed.  They built themselves up in wrong doing, and said to the Spirit of God, 'Go thy way for this time; when I have a more convenient season, I will call for thee.'...

"It is only when we serve God in the strictest integrity and in humility of mind, trusting in Jesus, that we are safe.  Everything is to be shaken that can be shaken." Battle Creek Letters, p 55-56, 58 (Letter 123, August 5, 1902).

Yet God's people today do not need to follow in the footsteps of the SDA church.  They do not need to refuse to accept the idea that the outpouring of the Holy Spirit has already arrived, is already falling, and in unbelief try to soothe their consciences by believing that the latter rain can only be poured out at some time in the future.   And as more and more of our brothers and sisters understand this reality, following the 3rd and 4th angels' messages by looking to Jesus and separating to Christ, then more of the latter rain can be poured out.  And as more of the latter rain is poured out, then the loud cry can continue to increase in intensity, and swell more and more until all the people of the earth have made their decisions to either stand with Jesus and His pure righteous remnant few, or to stand with Satan and his wicked corrupt majority!  Yet this all depends upon God's people understanding the time in which we are now living!

As the latter rain has already begun to fall, then it is time to give the loud cry message found in Revelation 18!  But some will deny that it is now the time to give this glorious message, because they say that the Sunday law has not yet been passed.  But are we to believe these sayings of men?  Are we to allow ourselves to be restricted by the arm of flesh?  God distinctly declares in unmistakably plain language to all of His people today regarding when the message of Revelation 18 is to be given:

"All are to hear the last message of warning. The prophecies in the book of Revelation, chapters 12 to 18, are being fulfilled. In the eighteenth chapter is recorded the very last call to the churches. This call is now to be given." Last Day Events, p 83 (Manuscript 75, September 20, 1906) see also Upward Look, p 277.

Beloved, how much more plainly can God state it?  "This call is now to be given"!  But there will always be some who allow the Devil to deceive them, just like he deceived the SDA church, into believing that when God states "NOW" it really means "later".  Will you be one of these?

Don't you see what time we are living in today?  We are all living in the time of the latter rain and the time of the swelling of the loud cry!  Don't you see what honor God is holding out to each one of us?  The blessed honor and privilege to have the outpouring of the Holy Spirit (Jesus) in latter rain power NOW and to have a part NOW in helping to swell the loud cry into the loudest cry possible, and to NOW fill this earth with God's glory!

Oh brothers and sisters, what blessed possibilities are lovingly held out for each one of us TODAY!  Shall we not grasp them?  Please do not allow the Devil to hold you into a position of inaction believing a futuristic doctrine that it is not yet time for the latter rain to fall, or that it is not time to give this last message of mercy; or that it is not yet time for the probation of all the churches to be closed; or that it is not yet time to separate; or that the beginning of the loud cry is not yet here, or has not yet begun to swell – because all of the above is not true!

"The work to be done now is that of sounding this last message of mercy to a fallen world....The work will grow deeper and become more earnest to the very close of time.  And all who are laborers together with God will contend most earnestly for the faith once delivered to the saints.  They will not be turned from the present message, which is already lightening the earth with its glory.  Nothing is worth contending for but the glory of God. The only rock that will stand is the Rock of Ages.  The truth as it is in Jesus is the refuge in these days of error." Selected Messages, book 2, p 114.

"The messenger turned to the congregation and said, `Do you believe the prophecies?  Do you who know the truth, understand that the last message of warning is now being given to the world,--the last call of mercy is now being heard.  Do you believe that Satan has come down with great power, working with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in every place?  Do you believe that great Babylon has come up in remembrance before God, and that soon she will receive from God's hand double for all her sins and iniquities?'...If the enemy can keep workers out of the field on any pretext, he will do so." Fundamentals of Christian Education, p 362-363.

Brethren, let us go to work, for our light has already come, and the glory of the Lord has already risen upon us.  Let us completely follow this glorious light of the 3rd and 4th angels’ ourselves, and then take this light and fill this earth with its glory!

Some are doing this right now!  Will you unite and join your voices with us?  Or will you be led away from giving the loud cry message by the perversion of men who twist the truth, and thus allow the devil to keep you out of the field of labor by following a false pretext and erroneous futuristic message?

The latter rain is falling, the loud cry is swelling, this world is being lightened with the glory of God, and what are you doing about it?

May God help us all to study for ourselves, and then to clearly understand the seriousness of the times in which we are NOW living in.

If you are not being purified and changed in character by the death of your old-self and un-Christlike traits, then you will not be made white and ready, and will not even understand the message for this time.

“Unless we are daily advancing in the exemplification of the active Christian virtues, we shall not recognize the manifestations of the Holy Spirit in the latter rain. It may be falling on hearts all around us, but we shall not discern or receive it.”
Testimonies to Ministers, p. 507.

“We must not wait for the latter rain. It is coming upon all who will recognize and appropriate the dew and showers of grace that fall upon us. When we gather up the fragments of light, when we appreciate the sure mercies of God, who loves to have us trust Him, then every promise will be fulfilled. [Isaiah 61:11 quoted.] The whole earth is to be filled with the glory of God.” - The Seventh-day Adventist Bible Commentary, volume 7, p. 984.

Are you living up to all the truth you have been given?

What about the health message, country living, music, wearing of make-up and jewelry, dress reform, reform of your tongue? Are you being "purified, and made white"?

Dan 12:10: At that time, "Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand (Matt 25:1-13)....

Do not say that you cannot overcome every inclination or habitual to sin (omissions included), for "Christ gave up His life... [as a] sacrifice... for the  [very] purpose of restoring man to his original perfection. Yea, more, it was offered to give him [man] an entire transformation of character, making him more than a conqueror.  {6BC 1113.3}

"If we do not progress, if we do not place ourselves in an attitude to receive both the former and the latter rain, we shall lose our souls, and the responsibility will lie at our own door." {TM 507.2}

Dan 12:3: "And they that be wise (Matt 25:1-13) shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever."

Mal 3:1: "Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts."

This passage in Malachi refers to the close of probation for SDAs.

What is the message to be given to the SDA Church? What is the message that you need for your soul? It is a message of alarm.

"The people are asleep in their sins and need to be alarmed before they can shake off this lethargy. Their ministers [SDA pastors and elders] have preached smooth things; but God’s servants, who bear sacred, vital truths, should cry aloud and spare notthat the truth may tear off the garment of security and find its way to the heart.... With some, evil besetments have flourished, and the heavenly graces have died out.

"God’s servants must bear a pointed testimony, which will cut the natural heart and develop character.... Such preaching as [is frequently] given in [our churches] will never do the work that God designs should be accomplished. Ministers of... [our] churches do enough cringing, and wrapping up of the pointed truths which rebuke sin." - Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 1, page 249.

"Cry aloudspare not, lift up your voice like a trumpet, and show my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins." - Isa. 58:1.

"Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh..." - Joel 2:1.

Are you giving a pointed testimony? Are you lifting up "your voice like a trumpet, and show[ing] the people their transgression, and the house of Jacob [SDAs] their sins? Or do you close your eyes and ears to the sins in the Church?

When you see signs of or hear of fornication [in the church basement in some cases], adultery [in the pastor's vestry], wife beating, improper dressing [even by those from whom we expected better things] in the SDA churches, do you rebuke, admonish and bring these to the attention of the church board for proper resolution?

“Now, brethren, God wants us to take our position with the man that carries the lantern… We want to give the trumpet a certain sound…: ‘And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird’ [Revelation 18:1–2].” Sermons and Talks, volume 1, 142.

I ask again, do you rebuke and expose flagrant sins that are prevailing in our churches [in your local SDA church]?

If not you will not be sealed. See Ezek. 9:4.

You must also be an overcomer. There is a lot in store for overcomers:  "Eye hath not seen, nor have ear heard...."

     "Those who in the strength of Christ overcome the great enemy of God and man, will occupy a position in the heavenly courts above angels who have never fallen."  {6BC 1113.4}

"The most desirable education is a knowledge of the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven. He who serves the world sees not the great things of eternal interest prepared for the one who opens his heart to the light of heaven. But he who enters this path of knowledge and perseveres in his search after the hidden wisdom, to him heavenly agencies teach the great lessons which through faith in Christ enable him to be an overcomer. Through this knowledge spiritual perfection is reached; the life becomes holy and Christlike." _ Counsels to Parents, Teachers and Students, p. 399

The Elijah Message

What is it? If you did not get it in the 10-11 paragraphs immediately above, then, allow me to summarise it here:

"Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me..." - Mal 3:1.

This is a message rebuking the prevailing iniquity in the church and eventually in the world.

Ellen White says: "that which causes me to tremble is the fact that those who have had the greatest light and privileges have become contaminated by the prevailing iniquity. Influenced by the unrighteous around themmany, even of those who profess the truth, have grown cold and are borne down by the strong current of evil. The universal scorn thrown upon true piety and holiness leads those who do not connect closely with God to lose their reverence for His law. If they were following the light and obeying the truth from the heart, this holy law would seem even more precious to them when thus despised and set aside."

"In the time when His wrath shall go forth in judgments... humble, devoted followers of Christ will be distinguished from the rest of the world by their soul anguish, which is expressed in lamentation and weeping, reproofs and warnings. While others try to throw a cloak over the existing evil, and excuse the great wickedness everywhere prevalent, those who have a zeal for God’s honor and a love for souls will not hold their peace to obtain favor of any. Their righteous souls are vexed day by day with the unholy works and conversation of the unrighteous. They are powerless to stop the rushing torrent of iniquity, and hence they are filled with grief and alarm. They mourn before God to see religion despised in the very homes of those who have had great light [for they say, “Times have changed.”]. [But the righteous]... lament and afflict their souls because pride, avarice, selfishness, and deception of almost every kind are in the church."

“The command is: ‘Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.’ These sighing, crying ones had been holding forth the words of life; they had reproved, counseled, and entreated." - Testimonies, volume 5, pp. 208–211.

“When the Saviour pointed out to His followers the signs of His return, He foretold the state of backsliding that would exist just prior to His second advent. There would be, as in the days of Noah, the activity and stir of worldly business and pleasure seeking—buying, selling, planting, building, marrying, and giving in marriage—with forgetfulness of God and the future life. For those living at this time, Christ’s admonition is: ‘Take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.’ ‘Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.’ Luke 21:3436.

The condition of the church at this time is pointed out in the Saviour’s words in the Revelation: ‘Thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.’ And to those who refuse to arouse from their careless security, the solemn warning is addressed: ‘If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.Revelation 3:13.” The Great Controversy, pp. 308–309.

Satan will invent every possible scheme to separate those whom God is seeking to make One. But we must not be misled by his devices. If the medical missionary
work is carried on as a part of the gospel, worldlings will see the good that is being done; they will be convicted of its genuineness and will give it their support.

We are nearing the end of this earth's history, and God calls upon all to lift the standard bearing the inscription: “Here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” He calls upon His people to work in perfect harmony.

Note: Is it possible that each and every healing, every deliverance from Satan’s power, every miracle, every captive that was set free, and every work of righteousness, which the apostles of our Lord (Adoni - Sovereign King) did, was done by faith ? And if so, then how do we also receive this faith of the saints ?

Note: As the Latter Rain of the Holy Spirit is pour out upon this world . . . for the Words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they are Life . . . . will each of us have the faith to take GOD at His Word and do those works which glorify His holy name ?

He calls upon those engaged in our medical work to unite with the ministry; He calls upon the ministry to co-operate with the medical missionary workers; and He calls upon the church (congregation) to take up their appointed duty, holding up the standard of true reform in their own territory, leaving the trained and experienced workers to press on into new fields. No word is to be spoken to discourage any, for this grieves the heart of Christ and greatly pleases the
adversary (Satan).

All need to be baptized with the Holy Spirit;all should refrain from censuring and disparaging remarks, and draw near to Christ, that they may appreciate the heavy responsibilities which the co-workers with Him are carrying. “Press together; press together,” are the words of our Divine Instructor. Unity is strength; disunion is weakness and defeat. - 6 Testimonies p.292

He sent out the twelve apostles, and afterward the seventy, to preach the gospel to the people, and He gave them power also to heal the sick and to cast out devils in His name. Thus should the Lord's messengers enter His work today ! Today the message comes to us: “As My Father hath sent Me, even so send I you. And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Spirit.” John 20:21-22.

Satan will go to the extent of his power to harass, tempt, and mislead God's people. He who dared to face, and tempt, and taunt our Lord (Jesus Christ), and who had power to take Him in his arms and carry Him to a pinnacle of the temple, and up into an exceedingly high mountain, will exercise his power to a wonderful degree upon the present generationwho are far inferior in wisdom to their Lord, and who are almost wholly ignorant of Satan's subtlety and strength.

In a marvelous manner will he affect the bodies of those who are naturally inclined to do his bidding. Satan exults that he is regarded as a fiction. When he is made light of, and represented by some childish illustration, or as some animal, it suits him well. He is thought so inferior that the minds of men are wholly unprepared for his wisely laid plans, and he almost always succeeds well.

If his power and subtlety were understood, many would be prepared to successfully resist him. All should understand that Satan was once an exalted angel. His rebellion shut him out of heaven, but did not destroy his powers and make him a beast. Since his fall he has turned his mighty strength against the government of heaven. He has been growing more artful, and has learned the most successful manner in which to come to the children of men with his temptations.” - 1 Testimonies p.342

“Fallen man is Satan's lawful captive. The mission of Christ was to rescue him from the power of His great adversary. Man is naturally inclined to follow Satan's suggestions, and he cannot successfully resist so terrible a foe unless Christ, the mighty Conqueror, dwells in him, guiding his desires, and giving him strength. God alone can limit the power of Satan. He is going to and fro in the earth, and walking up and down in it. He is not off his watch for a single moment, through fear of losing an opportunity to destroy souls. It is important that God's people understand this, that they may escape his snares. Satan is preparing his deceptions, that in his last campaign against the people of God they may not understandthat it is he . . . .” - 1 Testimonies p.341

“The period of Christ's personal ministry among men was the time of greatest activity for the forces of the kingdom of darkness. For ages Satan with his evil angels had been seeking to control the bodies and the souls of men, to bring upon them sin and suffering; then he had charged all this misery upon God.

Jesus was revealing to men the character of God. (Let this mind be in you, which was in Christ Jesus) He was breaking Satan's power, and setting his captives free. New life and love and power from heaven were moving upon the hearts of men, and the prince of evil was aroused to contend for the supremacy of his kingdom. Satan summoned all his forces, and at every step contested the work of Christ.

So it will be in the great final conflict of the controversy between righteousness and sin. While new life and light and power are descending from on high upon the disciples of Christ, a new life is springing up from beneath, and energizing the agencies of Satan. Intensity is taking possession of every earthly element. With a subtlety gained through centuries of conflict, the prince of evil works under a disguise. He appears clothed as an angel of light, and multitudes are “giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.” I Timothy 4:1

In the days of Christ the leaders and teachers of Israel were powerless to resist the work of Satan. They were neglecting the only means by which they could have withstood evil spirits. It was by the Word of God that Christ overcame the wicked one ! . . .

When once the restraints of God's Word and His Spirit are rejected, no man knows to what depths of degradation he may sink. Secret sin or master passion may hold him a captive as helpless as was the demoniac of Capernaum. Yet his condition is not hopeless !

The means by which we can overcome the wicked one is that by which Christ overcame,-- the power of the Word
God does not control our minds without our consent; but if we desire to know and to do His will, His Promises are ours: “Ye shall know the Truth . . . Thy Word is Truth . . .  and the Truth shall make you free.” “If any man willeth to do His will, he shall know of the teaching.” John 8:32; 7:17 & 17:17

Through faith in these Promises, every man may be delivered from the snares of error and the control of sin . . . .” Desire of Ages p. 258-259

They should entreat those who have had a religious experience, and who have faith in the Promises of Godto plead with the mighty Deliverer in their behalfIt will be a close conflict (a battle). Satan will reinforce his evil angels who have controlled these persons; but if the saints of God with deep humility fast and pray, their prayers will prevail ! Jesus will commission holy angels to resist Satan, and he will be driven back and his power broken from off the afflicted ones. “And He said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.” Mark 9:29.                                                                          - 1 Testimonies p.343
“. . . I saw evil angels contending for souls, and angels of God resisting them. The conflict was severe. Evil angels were corrupting the atmosphere with their poisonous influence, and crowding about these souls to stupefy their sensibilities. Holy angels were anxiously watching and waiting to drive back Satan's host. But it is not the work of good angels to control the minds of men against their willIf they yield to the enemy, and make no effort to resist him, then the angels of God can do but little more than hold in check the host of Satan, that they shall not destroy, until further Light be given to those in peril, to move them to arouse and look to heaven
for Help. Jesus will not commission holy angels to extricate those who make no effort to help themselves.

If Satan sees that he is in danger of losing one soul, he will exert himself to the utmost to keep that one. And when the individual is aroused to his danger, and, with distress and fervor, looks to Jesus for strength, Satan fears that he will lose a captive, and he calls a reinforcement of his angels to hedge in the poor soul, and form a wall of darkness (doubt, fear and unbelief) around him, that heaven's Light may not reach him.

Thy Word is a Lamp unto my feet, and a Light unto my path !” Psalm 119:105

"Arise and shine, for thy Light is come; and the glory of the LORD (Yehuwah) is risen upon thee "   Isaiah 60:1

"For if our gospel (Glad Tidings) be hidit is hid to them who are lost, in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of which believe not, lest the Light of the glorious gospel of Christ, Who is the image (exact likeness) of GOD, should shine unto them . . . . For GOD (Yehuwah) Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give
the light (revealing) of the knowledge (knowing) of the glory of GOD in the face of Jesus Christ(Yehushua ha Moshiac) !" II Corinthians 4:3-6

But if the one in danger perseveres, and in his helplessness casts himself upon the merits (worthiness) of the blood of Christour Saviour listens to the earnest prayer of faith, and sends a reinforcement of those angels that excel in strength to deliver him.

Satan cannot endure to have his powerful rival appealed to, for he fears and trembles before His strength and majesty. At the sound of fervent prayer, Satan's whole host trembles. He continues to call legions of evil angels to accomplish his object. And when angels, all-powerfulclothed with the armory of heaven, come to the help of the fainting, pursued soul, Satan and his host fall back, well knowing that their battle is lost. The willing subjects of Satan are faithful, active, and united in one object. And although they hate and war with one another, yet they improve every opportunity to advance their common interest. But the great Commander in heaven and earth has limited Satan's power. - 1 Testimonies p.345

Some, I was shown, gratify their curiosity and tamper with the devil. They have no real faith in spiritualism and would start back with horror at the idea of being
mediums. Yet they venture and place themselves in a position where Satan can exercise his power upon them. Such do not mean to enter deep into this work, but they know not what they are doing. They are venturing on the devil's ground and are tempting him to control them. This powerful destroyer considers them his lawful prey and exercises his power upon them, and that against their will. When they wish to control themselves they cannot. They yielded their minds to Satan, and he will not release his claims, but holds them captive. No power can deliver the ensnared soul but the power of God in answer to the earnest prayers of His faithful followers.” - 1 Testimonies p299

Jesus did not consider heaven a place to be desired while we were lost. He left the heavenly courts for a life of reproach and insult, and a death of shame.
He Who was rich in heaven's priceless Treasure became poor, that through His poverty we might be rich. We are to follow in the path He trod !

The eyes of your understanding being enlightenedthat ye may know (by experience) what is the hope of His callingand what is the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints. And what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of His Mighty powerWhich he wrought in Christwhen He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His Own right hand in the heavens ! . . .”    Ephesians 1:17-21

And “that He would grant youaccording to the riches of His Gloryto be strengthened with mightby His Spirit in the inner man. That Christ (The Anointed One, the Anointing) may dwell in your hearts by faith . . . .”     Ephesians 3:16

Strengthened with all mightaccording to His glorious power, unto all patience, and longsuffering with joyfulness. Giving thanks unto The Father . . . enter His courts with praise and thanksgiving . . . which hath made us meet (worthy - through the merits of Christ Jesus) to be partakers of the Inheritance of the saints in Light !” Colossians 1:11-12 & Psalm 100:4

To whom GOD (Jehovah, Yehuwah Elohim) would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the Hope of glory !” Colossians 1:27
He who becomes a child of God should henceforth look upon himself as a link in the chain let down to save the world, one with Christ in His plan of mercy,
going forth with Him to seek and save the lost.

Many feel that it would be a great privilege to visit the scenes of Christ's life on earth, to walk where He trod, to look upon the lake beside which He loved to teach, and the hills and valleys on which His eyes so often rested. But we need not go to Nazareth, to Capernaum, or to Bethany, in order to walk in the steps of Jesus. We shall find His footprints beside the sickbed, in the hovels of poverty, in the crowded alleys of the great cities, and in every place where there are human hearts in need of consolation.

We are to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and comfort the suffering and afflicted. We are to minister to the despairing, and to inspire hope in the hopeless.
The love of Christ, manifested in unselfish ministry (service), will be more effective in reforming the evildoer than will the sword or the court of justice . . . .

The missionary can not only relieve physical maladies, but he can lead the sinner to the Great Physician, Who can cleanse the soul from the leprosy of sin.

Through His servants, God designs that the sick, the unfortunate, andthose possessed of evil spirits shall hear His Voice

Through His human agencies He desires to be a Comforter such as the world knows not. - Ministry of Healing p.105-106

Christ was strong to save the whole world. He wanted all ! He could not endure the thought that one should be lost. He wept at the grave of Lazarus, that He could not save every one whom Satan's power had laid low in death. He had given Himself a ransom for many, even all who would avail themselves of the privilege of coming back to their loyalty to GOD (Jehovah, Yehuwah). John, pointing to Him, had said, “Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world !” John 1:29.

And in all this conflict with the powers of evil, there was ever before Christ the darkened shadow into which He Himself must enter. Ever before Him was the price
which He must pay for the ransom of these souls.

As He witnessed the sufferings of the human race, He knew that He must bear a greater pain, mingled with mockery; that He must suffer the greatest humiliation. When He raised Lazarus from the dead, He knew that for that life He must pay the ransom on the cross of CalvaryEvery rescue made was to cause Him the deepest humiliation. He was to taste death for every man . . . !” - Youth Instructor, December 29, 1898

In all their affliction, He was afflictedand the Angel of His Presence (Face, Countenance, Shewbread) saved them. In His love and in His pity He redeemed
themand He bare them, and carried them all the days of old !” Isaiah 63:9

For He hath made Him to be sin for us, Who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of GOD (Jehovah, Yehuwah) in Him !”II Corinthians 5:21

For it pleased the LORD to bruise Him; He hath put Him to grief: when Thou shalt make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed(children), He shall prolong His days . . . . He shall see the travail of His soul, and be satisfied . . . !”

Isaiah 53:10-11.
“We must humble self, today, tomorrow, and constantly. With a willing, sanctified heart (set apart from the world for a holy purpose), we must cooperate with God.
We are living in the time when Satan has come down in great power. He is walking about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

But the Lord is ready to take away the sin that hinders us from yoking up with Christ. If we wear the yoke of Christ (are joined unto Him), He will be our Immanuel, - “God with us” supplying every weakness with His strength, every inefficiency with His power and success. But if we take glory to ourselves, He removes His excellency (His glory) from us, and we no longer ride prosperously.

Take up the stones, (break up the fallow ground - ref: Jeremiah 4:3 & Hosea 10:12) remove the rubbish from your hearts. Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh
away the sin of the world. God's servants need constantly to lay hold with one hand of souls ready to perish, while with the hand of faith they lay hold of the throne of God.

Souls possessed with evil spirits will present themselves before us. We must cultivate the spirit of earnest prayer, mingled with genuine faith to save them from ruin, and this will confirm our faith. God designs that the sick, the unfortunate, those possessed with evil spiritsshall hear His Voice through us. Through his human agents he desires to be a Comforter such as the world has never before seen. His Words are to be voiced by his followers: “Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Ye believe in God, believe also in Me !” Spaulding Magan Collection p.89

May the LORD (Yehuwah) bless each of us and our families with the gift of knowing Him personally, and in knowing His great love for us, and all those perishing around us. And may we with the apostle Paul know Him, and the power of His might in our lives, to seek and to save those who are yet lost !

The Showers of Blessing !

Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the Latter Rain; so the LORD shall make bright clouds,
and give them showers of Rain, to every one grass in the field.”     Zechariah 10:1

There must be no neglect of the Grace (G5485 - Divine Influence upon the heart, Spirit) represented by the Former Rain.
Only those who are living up to the Light they have . . . Thy Word is a Lamp unto my feet, and a Light unto my path . . . . will receivegreater Light.

"Thy Word is a Lamp unto my feet, and a Light unto my path ! . . . . And the Words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they are Life !"   Psalm 119:105 & John 6:63

Unless we are daily advancing in the exemplification of the active Christian virtues (the character of Christ), we shall not recognize the manifestations of the Holy Spirit in the Latter Rain. It may be falling on hearts all around us, but we shall not discern or receive It.

In the East the former rain falls at the sowing time. It is necessary in order that the seed may germinate. Under the influence of the fertilizing showers, the tender shoot springs up. The latter rain, falling near the close of the season . . . . the harvest is the end of the world . . . . ripens the grain, and prepares it for the sickle. The Lord employs these operations of nature to represent the work of the Holy Spirit . . . . ref: Matthew 13:39

While we cherish the blessing of the Early Rain, we must not, on the other hand, lose sight of the fact that without the Latter Rain, to fill out the ears and ripen the grain, the harvest will not be ready for the sickle, and the labor of the sower will have been in vain. Divine grace (Influence upon the heart) is needed at the beginning, Divine grace at every step of advance, and Divine grace alone can complete the work. . . .       The Faith I Live By p.334

As the members of the body of Christ approach the period of their last conflict, "the time of Jacob's trouble," ref: Jeremiah 30:7, they will grow up into Christ, and will partake largely of His Spirit. As the third message swells to a loud cry, and as great power and glory attends the closing work, the faithful people of God will partake of that glory. It is the Latter Rain which revives and strengthens them to pass through the time of trouble. Their faces will shine with the glory of that Light which attends the third angel. {4bSG 112.5}

"And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness, shall shine as the stars for ever and ever !"  Daniel 12:1-3

I saw that God would in a wonderful manner preserve his people through the time of trouble.

We must pray that God will unseal the fountain of the Water of Life. And we must ourselves receive of the Living Water.

*ref: John 4:7-14 & John 7:37-39

Let us, with contrite hearts, pray most earnestly that now, in the time of the Latter Rain, the showers of Grace may fall upon us. At every meeting we attend our prayers should ascend, that at this very time God will impart warmth and moisture to our souls. As we seek God for the Holy Spirit, It will work in us meekness, humbleness of mind, a conscious dependence upon God for the perfecting Latter Rain. If we pray for the Blessing in faith, we shall receive It as God has Promised. ref: Galatians 3:14. —(Testimonies to Ministers, 508.) {Pr 119.6}

Let the Light of the glorious angel which unites with the third angel, shine upon me; give me a part in the work; let me sound the proclamationlet me be co-laborer with Jesus Christ." Thus seeking God, let me tell you, He is fitting you up all the time giving you His grace. You need not be worried.
You need not be thinking that there is a special time coming when you are to be crucifiedthe time to be crucified is just now !
ref: Galatians 2:20 & Romans 6:1-6

Every day, every hour, self is to dieself is to be crucified, and then, when the time comes that the test shall come to God's people in earnest, the everlasting arms are around you. The angels of God make a wall of fire around about and deliver you. All your self-crucifixion will not do any good then.It must come before the destiny of souls is decidedIt is now that self is to be crucified, when there is work to do; when there is some use to be made of every entrusted capability. It is now that we are to empty and thoroughly cleanse the vessel of its impurity. It is now that we are to be made holy unto God. This is our work, this very moment. You are not to wait for any special period for a wonderful work to be done; it is today. I give myself to God today. Ms 35, 1891, pp. 16, 17. ("Work and Baptism of Holy Spirit Needed," September 26, 1891.) {1MR 179.2}

The great work of the gospel is not to close with less manifestation of the power of God than marked its opening. The prophecies which were fulfilled in the outpouring of the Former Rain (Acts 2:1-36) at the opening of the gospel, are again to be fulfilled in the Latter Rain at its close ! Here are “the times of refreshing” to which the apostle Peter looked forward when he said, “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the Presence of the LORD; and He shall send Jesus.”

Servants of God, with their faces lighted upand shining with holy consecration, will hasten from place to place to proclaim the message from Heaven. By thousands of voices, all over the earth, the warning will be given. Miracles will be wroughtthe sick will be healed, and signs and wonders will follow the believers

"And these signs shall follow them that believeIn My name, shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new languages . . . they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover !"  Mark 16:15-18.

"And faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of GOD !"   Romans 10:17

Satan also works with lying wonders, even bringing down fire from heaven in the sight of men. [Revelation 13:13.] Thus the inhabitants of the earth will be brought to take their stand. {GC88 612.1}

The message will be carried not so much by argument as by the deep conviction of the Spirit of God. The arguments have been presented. The Seed has been sown, and now it will spring up and bear fruit. The publications distributed by missionary workers have exerted their influence, yet many whose minds were impressed have been prevented from fully comprehending the truth or from yielding obedience. Now the rays of Light penetrate everywherethe Truth is seen in its clearness, and the honest children of God sever the bands which have held them. Family connections, church relations, are powerless to stay them now. Truth is more precious than all besides. Notwithstanding the agencies combined against the truth, a large number take their stand upon the Lord's side. GC 1888 Edition p.611-612

"Sanctify them through Thy Thy Truth, Thy Word is Truth (Verily So) !"   John 17:17

We must not wait for the Latter Rain. It is coming upon all who will recognize and appropriate (claim by faith as their own) the dew and showers of grace that fall upon us. When we gather up the fragments of Light, when we appreciate the sure mercies of God, Who loves to have us trust Himthen every Promise will be fulfilled

"For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations" [Isaiah 61:11]. The whole earth is to be filled with the glory of God.

The Word of God in His law is binding upon every intelligent mind. The Truth for this time, the third angel's message, is to be proclaimed with a loud voice, meaning with increasing power, as we approach the great final test. . . . {2MR 18.2} Letter 151, 1897, pp. 1-2.

"The LORD possessed Me in the beginning of His Way, before His works of old. I was set up from ever-lasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. When there were no depths, I was brought forth . . . Before the mountains were settled, before the hillswas I brought forth ! . . .
Then I was by Him, as One brought up with Him: and I was daily His delight, rejoicing always before Him.

Rejoicing in the habitable part of His earth; and My delights were with the sons of men !" Proverbs 8:22-31

Now we brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of Promise !

Romans 9:7-8

"And behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you: so tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high !" Luke 24:49

"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ (Yehushua the Moshiac- Jehovah saves His Anointed, Jehovah's Salvation and Anointing !) for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the Holy Ghost.

For the Promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off (distant from God), even as many as the LORD our God shall call !" Acts 2:38-39

And again, when He bringeth in the First Begotten into the world, He saith, Let all the angels of God worship Him. And of the angels He saith, Who maketh His angels spirits, and His ministers (servants) a flame of fire ! . . . Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for (serve) them that shall be heirs of Salvation ?"     Hebrews 1:6-14

"And He (Yehushua) marvelled because of their unbelief. And He went round about the villages, teaching. And He called unto Him the twelve, and He began to send them forth two by two . . . .

Baptizing them in the name of the Father (I AM THAT I AM), and in the name of the Son (I AM), and with the Holy Spirit . . . .      ref: Matthew 28:18-19 & Mark 16:15-18.

And gave them power over unclean spirits. . . . And they went out, and preached that men should repent. And they cast out many devils, and anointed with
oil many that were sick, and healed them !" Mark 6:6-7,12-13

"But (and) the Anointing which ye have received of Him abideth in you ! And ye need not that any man should teach you: but as the same Anointing teacheth you of all things, and is Truth, and is no lie, and even as It hath taught youso ye shall abide in Him !" I John 2:27

"And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the Peace of thy children !"    Isaiah 54:13

"I Am the Vine, ye are the branches: he that abideth in Me (The Word of God), and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit(ref: Galatians 5:22 - the fruit of the Spirit): for without Me ye can do nothing . . . If ye abide in Me, and My Words abide in you . . .the Words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit and they are Life . . . ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you !

For this is how My Father is glorified, that ye bear much fruit; and so shall ye be (this is how ye shall be) My disciples !" John 15:5-8 & John 6:63

"Now the Lord (Yehushua, Jesus) is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the LORD (Jehovah, Yehuwah) is, there is liberty(freedom, freeborn, as a citizen, not a slave, exempt from liability) !"   II Corinthians 3:17

"Blessed be the God (Elohim) and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (Yehushua ha Moshiac), which according to His abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a Lively (Living) Hope . . . which Hope we have as an Anchor of the soul, both Sure and Stedfast, and Which entereth intothat within the veil . . . by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead !" I Peter 1:3

"Being born (begotten) again, not of corruptible (mortal, that which decays) seed, but of incorruptibleby the Word of God (Yehuwah), which liveth and abideth forever !"

I Peter 1:23
"For the Word of God (Yehushua, Jesus) is quick (living) and powerful (full of power), and sharper than any twoedged sword . . . !"
Hebrews 4:12

"For this cause also thank we God (Yehuwah, Jehovah) without ceasing, because, when ye received the Word of God which ye heard of us, ye received It not as the word of men, but as It is in Truth (Verity), the Word of Almighty God !

Which effectually worketh also in you that believe !" I Thessalonians 2:13

"For the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the Only begotten of The Father, full of Grace (the Divine Influence upon the heart), and Truth (Verity, Assurance) !"   John 1:14

"In Whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the Word of Truth (Yehushua ha Moshiac, Jesus Christ), the gospel (Glad Tidings)of your Salvation
in Whom also after that ye believedye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of Promise . . . unto the praise of His glory !" Ephesians 1:13-14

"That the Blessing of Abraham (Father of a great multitude) might come on (generate,
bring into being) the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; and that we might receive the Promise of the Spirit through faith !"     Galatians 3:14

May we each press our cries for this Blessing to the throne of the Almighty, pleading as our only right the merits (worthiness), the perfect righteousness of Jesus Christ (Yehushua ha Moshiac) !

And may the LORD open the windows of heaven and pour out His Blessing upon you
and your family and ministry for Him today !

The Harvest is Ready . . .
Ask ye of the LORD Rain in the time of the Latter Rain !

"Be patient therefore brethren . . . who through faith and patience inherit the Promises ! . . . unto the Coming (Presence, advent) of the Lord. For behold, the Husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it . . . . Until it receive the Early and the Latter Rain !" James 5:7, Hebrews 6:12 and ref: Deuteronomy 11:14

"Many have in a great measure failed to receive the Former Rain. They have not obtained all the benefits that God has thus providedfor them (ref: II Peter 1:4). They expect that the lack will be supplied by the Latter Rain. When the richest abundance of Grace (the Divine Influence upon the heart) shall be bestowed, they intend to open their hearts to receive it. They are making a terrible mistake !

The work that God has begun in the human heart in giving His Light . . . Thy Word is a Lamp unto my feet, and a Light unto my path . . . and knowledge, must be continually going forward . . . for this is Life eternal, that they might know Thee . . . Every individual must realize his own necessity. The heart must be emptied of every defilement, and cleansed for the indwelling of the Spirit. It was by the confession and forsaking of sin, by earnest prayer and consecration of themselves to God, that the early disciples prepared for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost.

The same workonly in greater degreemust be done now ! Then the human agent had only to ask for the Blessing (ref: Galatians 3:14), and wait for the Lord to perfect . . . For I will complete that good work which I have begun in you . . . the work concerning him. It is God Who began the work, and He will finish His work, making man complete in Jesus Christ. But there must be no neglect of the Grace represented by the Former Rain

Only those who are living up to the Light they have, will receive greater Light. Unless we are daily advancing in the exemplification of the active Christian virtues (Christ-like character), we shall not recognize the manifestations of the Holy Spirit in the Latter RainIt may be falling on hearts all around us, but we shall not discern or receive it.

At no point in our experience can we dispense with the assistance of that which enables us to make the first start. The Blessings received under the Former Rain are needful to us to the endYet these alone will not suffice. While we cherish the Blessing of the Early Rain, we must not, on the other hand, lose sight of the fact that without the Latter Rainto fill out the ears and ripen the grain, the harvest will not be ready for the sickle, and the labor of the sower will have been in vain.

Divine Grace is needed at the beginning, Divine Grace (the Spirit of Christ) at every step of advance, and Divine Grace alone can complete the work ! "Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit saith the LORD of hosts . . . There is no place for us to rest in a careless attitude. We must never forget the warnings of Christ, "Watch unto prayer," "Watch and pray always." A connection with the Divine Agency (Spirit) every moment is essential to our progress. We may have had a measure of the Spirit of God, but by prayer and faith we are continually to seek more of the Spirit . . . for the Words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they are Life . . . (John 6:63). It will never do to cease our efforts. ref: Zechariah 4:6.

If we do not progress, if we do not place ourselves in an attitude to receive both the Former and the Latter Rainwe shall lose our souls, and the responsibility will lie at our own door. Do not rest satisfied that in the ordinary course of the season, rain will fall. Ask for it ! The growth and perfection of the seed rests not with husbandman. God alone can ripen the harvest. But man's co-operation is required. God's work for us demands the action of our mind, the exercise of our faith

We must seek His favors . . . Come boldly to the throne of Grace . . . with the whole heart if the Showers of Grace are to come to us. We should improve every opportunity of placing ourselves in the channel of Blessing. Christ has said, "Where two or three are gathered together in My name,
there am I in the midst (their hearts) !" Matthew 18:20. "And the LORD thy God in the midst of thee, is Mighty, He will save !"   ref: Zephaniah 3:15-17. The convocations of the church, as in camp-meetings, the assemblies of the home church, and all occasions where there is personal labor for souls, are God's appointed opportunities for giving the Early and the Latter Rain.

But let none think that in attending these gatherings, their duty is done. A mere attendance upon all the meetings that are held will not in itself bring a Blessing to the soul. It is not an immutable law that all who attend general gatherings or local meetings shall receive large supplies from heaven. The circumstances may seem to be favorable for a rich outpouring of the Showers of Grace. But God Himself must command the Rain to fall. Therefore we should not be remiss in supplication. We are not to trust to the ordinary working of Providence.

We must pray that God will unseal the Fountain of the Water of Life. And we must ourselves receive of the Living Water. Let uswith contrite hearts, pray most earnestly that now, in the time of the Latter Rain, the Showers of Grace may fall upon us. At every meeting we attend, our prayers should ascend that at this very time, God will impart warmth and moisture to our souls. As we seek God for the Holy Spirit, It (His Spirit) will work in us meekness, humbleness of mind, a conscious dependence upon God for the perfecting Latter Rain.

If we pray for the Blessing in faith, we shall receive It as God has Promised !

"And being assembled together (congregation), He commanded them . . . wait for the Promise of The Father, which ye have heard of Me. For John truly baptized with water, but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days hence !"   Acts 1:4-5

"Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting (comfort and encouraging) one another: And so much the more, as ye see the day approaching !" Hebrews 10:25

"That the Blessing of Abraham (speaking of the Spirit-filled Words of Life to Abraham and his Seed) might come on* the Gentiles through Jesus Christ (Yehushua ha Moshiac); and that we might receive the Promise of the Spirit through faith !" Galatians 3:14

Review & Herald, March 2, 1897

"You cannot be born again, unless you are willing to die !"

"I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless, I live . . . Yet not I, but Christ liveth in me. And the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of GOD, Who loved me, and gave Himself for me !"     Galatians 2:20

"For if ye live by (the power of) the flesh, ye shall die: But if ye through the Spirit . . . the Words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they are Life . . . do mortify (put to death) the deeds of the body, ye shall Live !"     Romans 8:13

May Yehushua (Jesus) bless each of us, and cause us to seek Him above all else . . . for verily, eternity is just before us !

"The thought that the righteousness of Christ is imputed to us (reckoned, to count as our own), not because of any merit (worthiness) on our part, but as a free gift from God, is a precious thought. The enemy of God and man (Satan - the accuser) is not willing that this Truth should be clearly presented; for he knows that if the people receive it fully, his power will be broken !"        - Gospel Workers p.104

"For as by one man's disobedience (Adam's) many were made sinnersSo by the obedience of One (Jesus Christ - Yehushua ha Moshiac) shall many be made righteous !"     Romans 5:19

". . . . And this is His name whereby He shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS !"     Jeremiah 23:5-6

"That no flesh should glory in His Presence. For by Him (Jehovah, Yehuwah) are ye in Christ Jesus,
Who of (by) God is made unto us Wisdom, and Righteousness, and Sanctification, and RedemptionSo that, according as it is written, he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord (Sovereign King) !"     I Corinthians 1:29-31

"That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith . . . !"     Ephesians 3:17

". . . . For Great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst (heart) of thee !"     Isaiah 12:1-6

May the LORD bless you, and keep you from falling. May He dwell within each of us, in the fullness
of His Son !

Consecration and the Latter Rain -

"Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth the Words of My mouth. My doctrine (teaching) shall fall as the Rain, and My speach shall distil as the dew . . . . Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD . . . for this is Life eternal, that we might know Him . . . . His going forth (Fountain) is prepared (as faithful) as the morning; and He shall come unto us as the Rain, as the Latter and Former Rain unto the earth !"     Deuteronomy 32:1-2 & Hosea 6:3

The LORD wants us to come up into the mount,—
more directly into His Presence. We are coming to a crisis which, more than any previous time since the world began, will demand the entire consecration of every one who has named the name of Christ . . . !
ref: Exodus 24:9-18.

Young men and women are arising to engage in the work of God, some of whom have scarcely any sense of the sacredness and responsibility of the work. They have but little experience in exercising faith, and in earnest soul-hunger for the Spirit of God, which ever brings returns.

Some men of good capabilities, who might fill important positions, do not know what spirit they are of. They run in a jovial mood as naturally as water flows down hill. They talk nonsense, and sport with young girls, while almost daily listening to the most solemn, soul-stirring Truths. These men have a religion of the headbut their hearts are not sanctified by the Truths they hear. Such can never lead others to the Fountain of Living Waters until they have drunk of the Stream
themselves.  ref: John 4:10-14

". . . . For in thy Seed shall all the nations of the earth be Blessed !"   Genesis 26:4

"Now to Abraham and to his Seed were the Promises madeHe saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of OneAnd to thy Seed, which is Christ (Anointed) !"   Galatians 3:16

"That the Blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles (all the nations of the earth) through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the Promise of the Spirit through faith !"     Galatians 3:14

"If thou knewest the Gift of God (Jehovah, Yehuwah), and Who it is that saith to thee, Give Me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of Him,
And He would have given thee Living Water . . . . springing up into everlasting Life !"

"For the Words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit and they are Life !"   John 6:63

It is no time now for lightness, vanity, or trifling. The scenes of this earth's history are soon to close. Minds that have been left to loose thought, need change. The apostle Peter says, “Gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; as obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts (carnal desires) in your ignorance; but as He
which hath called you Is holy (I AM THAT I AM) so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; because it is written
Be ye holy; for I am holy.” I Peter 1:13-16.

"Toda(even Now !), if ye will hear His Voice, harden not your hearts . . . in unbelief !"   Hebrews 3:7-19

Loose thoughts must be gathered up and centered on God. The very thoughts should be in obedience to the will of God. Praise should not be given or expected; for this will have a tendency to foster self-confidence rather than to increase humility, to corrupt rather than to purify. Men who are really qualified, and who feel that they have a part to act in connection with the work of God, will feel pressed beneath a sense of the sacredness of the work, as a cart beneath sheaves. Now is the time to make the most earnest efforts to overcome the natural feelings of the carnal heart.

Brethren, we must have less of self, and more of God
. We are not to trust for success to what we can do, but to what Christ can do through our efforts. The efficiency of our labor depends upon our hold on God.

The Holy Spirit is grieved
and driven away by the self-sufficiency, the unchrist-like spirit, that is cherished. You have no time to spend in contention. Draw near to God, and go to work for Christ and the souls He died to saveIf mistakes are made, as they will be, do not fall back, content to make no further effort,
but try again. With agony of desire, in humility, with wrestling faith, come to One Who is too wise to err, and Who will make no mistake in your case; One Who knows your every weakness, and Who will hear your heart-felt prayers. May God make His servants wise through the Divine illumination, that the impress of man may not be seen on any of the great and important enterprises before us.

The LORD wants us to come up into the mount,— more directly into His Presence. We are coming to a crisis which, more than any previous time since the world began, will demand the entire consecration of every one who has named the name of Christ.

A revival of true godliness among us is the greatest and most urgent of all our needs. We must have the Holy unction (anointing, fervor) from God,
the Baptism of His Spirit; for this is the only efficient agent in the promulgation of sacred Truth. It is the Spirit of God that quickens (renews to Life) the lifeless faculties of the soul to appreciate heavenly things, and attracts the affections toward God and the Truth.

"Sanctify them through Thy Truth, Thy Word is Truth !"   John 17:17

The Outpouring of the Holy Spirit

It is our privilege to take God at His Word. As Jesus was about to leave His disciples, to ascend into heaven, He commissioned them to bear the gospel message to all nations, tongues, and peoples. He told them to tarry in Jerusalem till they were endued with Power from on high. This was essential to their success. The Holy unction must come upon the servants of God. All who were fully identified as disciples of Christ and associated with the apostles as evangelists, assembled together at Jerusalem. They put away all differences. They continued with one accord (John 17:21-22) in prayer and supplication, that they might receive the fulfillment of the Promise of the Holy Spirit; for they were to preach the gospel in the demonstration of the Spirit and in the power of God.

It was a time of great danger to the followers of Christ. They were as sheep in the midst of wolves, yet they were of good courage, because Christ had risen from the dead, and had revealed Himself to them, and had promised them a special Blessing which would qualify them to go forth to preach His gospel to the world. They were waiting in expectation of the fulfillment of His Promise, and were praying with special fervency !

This is the very course
that should be pursued by those who act a part in the work of proclaiming the Coming of the Lord in the clouds of heaven; for a people are to be prepared to stand in the great day of God. Although Christ had given the Promise to His disciples that they should receive the Holy Spiritthis did not remove the necessity of prayer. They prayed all the more earnestly; they continued in prayer with one accord. Those who are now engaged in the solemn work of preparing a people for the Coming of the Lord, should also continue in prayer. The early disciples were of one accord. They had no speculations, no curious theory to advance as to how the Promised Blessing was to come. They were one in faith and spirit. They were agreed.

Put away all doubt
Dismiss your fears, obtain the experience that Paul had when he exclaimed, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, Who loved me, and gave Himself for me.” [Galatians 2:20.] Surrender everything to Christ, and let your life be hid with Christ in God. Then you will be a power for good.
One shall chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight. ref: Deuteronomy 32:30.

Gospel Workers, 1892 p.368-371

Our prayer today, is that all of the LORD's children will set aside all pride and self sufficiency, pride of opinion, and all independence, and seek His Face together. For enemy is doing all he can to occupy us with contention among oursleves. The battle just before us, is greater than all before, and our enemies without far out number those who honestly love Him within.

If we have Light which we desire to share, then let us, in love (preferring others over our selves), open the Scriptures with our brothers and sisters. And if the ground is not yet ready, let us not cast away those who have also been bought with the blood and sacrifice of Jesus Christ (Yehushua ha Moshiac) ! Our question should always be, How would Jesus treat this soul with whom I am speaking ?

May the LORD (Jehovah, Yehuwah) bless each of us, our families and our congregations. May He open the windows of heaven, and pour out His Promised Blessing without measure upon us. And may He increase our faith, to take Him at His every Word !

The Final Work Among God's People ?

"And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the Everlasting gospel (Glad Tidings), to proclaim to them that dwell
on the earth . . .  Saying with a loud Voice (Spirit-filled ref: Luke 1:41-45), Fear Godand give glory to Him . . . and worship Him (to prostrate oneself
before, to kiss the hand) that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains (springs) of water . . . !"        Revelation 14:6-7
------- -------

"Some of our brethren have expressed fears that we shall dwell too much upon the subject ofJustification (being declared and made
innocent, holy and righteous) by faith, but I hope and pray that none will be needlessly alarmed . . .

For there is no danger in presenting this doctrine as it is set forth in the Scriptures. If there had not been a remissness in the past to properly instruct the
people of God, there would not now be a necessity of calling a special attention to it . . . . The exceeding great and precious Promises given us in the Holy Scriptures
have been lost sight of to a great extent, just as the enemy of all righteousness designed that they should be.

He has cast his own dark shadow between us and our God, that we may not see the true character of God. The LORD has proclaimed Himself to be "merciful and
gracious, long-suffering, and abundant in goodness and truth."  ref: Exodus 33:18 -34:7

Several have written to me, inquiring if the message of Justification (Righteousness) by faith is the third angel's message, and I have answered,
"It is the third angel's message, in verity !"
 -- The Review and Herald, April 1, 1890.  & 1 Selected Messages p.372

This 1st angel of Revelation 14 proclaims in majesty and holy boldness, the 'Everlasting Gospel' to all the world.
This Glad Tidings is not something new; not something which has been revealed only since Calvary . . . But according to Scripture, this Glad Tidings
is that which has been the Light and hope in this world since the very beginning !
And hope maketh not ashamed . . . !

"For unto us was the Gospel preached, as well as unto them; but the Word preached (proclaimed) did not profit them, not being mixed with faith
in them that heard It . . .  !"     Hebrews 4:2

"And worship Him (bow in humble adoration before Him) that made (created) the heaven, the earth, the sea . . . and all that in them is !"
Revelation 14:7 & Exodus 20:11

Note:   And how was this accomplished, this creation of all things ?

"For by the Word of the LORD (Jehovah, Yehuwah) were the heavens made, and all the host of them by the Breath
(Spirit) of His mouth. For He spake and it was done; He commanded, and it stands fast !"     Psalm 33:6-9

6000 years ago, the LORD spoke, "Let there be Light . . ." and it is still so !
He spake, "Let the earth bring forth grass, and the herb yielding seed . . ."  And today, after six thousand years of degeneracy, corruption, and sin
His Word liveth and abideth forever. The earth is still obeying His spoken Command !

For even in the concrete sidewalks running through our crowded cities across the globe, that Seed ofthe Word of God (ref: Luke 8:11), still will burst
through the man-made pavement and boundries, to fulfill it's spoken purpose. And as we pass by, we can see those fresh blades of Living green springing up
to new life through the fractured remains of their prison walls !

And cannot that same Word of Almighty God work in you, if only we by faith, will allow it ?

"For as the Rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth,
and maketh it to bring forth and bud (blossem), so that it may give Seed to the sower, and Bread to the eater . . . So shall My Word be
that goeth forth out of My mouth: It shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and It (My Word) shall prosper in
the thing whereto I sent It  . . . !"     Isaiah 55:10-11
"O taste and see that the LORD is good, Blessed is that man or woman who trusteth in Him !"   Psalm 34:7-8

"Even as Abraham believed God . . . and obeyed My Voice ! . . . and it was accounted to him for Righteousness.
know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham . . ."     Galatians 3:6-7 & Genesis 22:18, 26:5

". . . who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham !"   Romans 4:12

"And the Scripture, foreseeing that GOD would justify (declare and make innocent, holy and righteous) the heathen, through faith,
preached before the Glad Tidings unto Abraham, saying, In thee . . . and thy Seed . . . shall all peoples of the earth be Blessed !"
Galatians 3:8 & Genesis 18:18

"That the Blessing of Abraham might come on* (generate, bring to life) the gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the Promise of
the Spirit through faith . . . !"     Galatians 3:14

"For faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Elohim - Divinity) . . . !"   Romans 10:17

"And the Words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they are Life !"     John 6:63

Note:    Through these exceeding great and precious (blood bought) Promises, can we not see the power of the Living God
which is ready and willing to work in our own lives today ?  And this same Word, works now, just as It worked in Abraham's life, and in the original
Creation. It works by the power of His Spirit !

"For it is the Spirit that quickeneth (gives new Life), the flesh profiteh nothing . . . Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit saith the LORD of hosts !"
John 6:63 & Zechariah 4:6

And can we not with King David cry out today, "In Thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion (of face, shame, dismay) !
Deliver me in Thy Righteousness (Jeremiah 23:5-6), and cause me to escape !

Incline Thine ear unto me, and save  (deliver, rescue, set free, heal) me !   Be Thou my Strong Habitation, whereunto I continually resort:
For Thou hast given commandment to save me; for Thou art my Rock and my Fortress . . . !"     Psalm 71:1-5

"Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD (Jehovah, Yehuwah), and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the Waters . . .
Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved . . . For Thou art my Praise !

For behold, they say unto me, Where is the Word of the LORD ?"     Jeremiah 17:7-8,13-15
"For without faith it is impossible to please GOD: for he that cometh to God must believe that He Is, and that He Is (I AM THAT I AM) a Rewarder
of all them that diligently seek Him !"     Hebrews 11:6

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you ____________ (speak your name), saith the LORD, thoughts of Peace (Shalom),
and not of evil, to give you an expected end (to fulfill all My Promises unto you) !

Then shall ye call upon Me, and ye shall go and pray unto Me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek Me,
and ye shall find Me, when ye shall search for Me (The Word of God) with all your heart !

And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity . . . !"     Jeremiah 29:11-14

"For faith cometh (and groweth) by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God !"     Romans 10:17

We encourage each of our brothers and sisters in Jesus (Yehushua), to seek the LORD's face early each morning !
Read aloud His exceeding great and precious Promises. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession (profession) is made unto Salvation !   - Romans 10:8-10

    And as you do this, He will fill-full His Word to you !   For He cannot lie, and His Word is gone forth, and it shall not return unto Him void;
and your faith and trust in Him will grow beyond all that you can think or imagine.
