How to Get Miracles In Your Life

When you see and feel your weakness you will not see that there is anything in yourself worthy of notice or remark. You will feast upon the glorious promises of His Word.

"Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established" (Proverbs 16:3).

Commit -- (Make a promise)
Thy works (What are you wanting, needing and working on?)
unto The Lord (Our best teacher and taskmaster)
and thy thoughts (what are you dreaming for your health and weight?)
shall be established (that means HAPPEN!)

1) Commit, 2) works,3) Lord, 4) thoughts, 5) established.

(Make an extra copy of this page) Use the space below to write down your commitment – to yourself and to the Lord! Make it a doable, enjoyable commitment, i.e. “I will take a brisk walk every day and journal what I eat” rather than “lose 50 pounds this year. Then copy this page and clip out what you’ve written.

OK, Go!

 Brain work: memorize prayers, hymns, scriptures, Busy, busy, busy -- it'll keep us out of trouble and have a "It Is Written" and a "Thus Saith the Lord" to rely upon during the Time of Trouble! Memorize scriptures for food, shelter, safety, protection, everything!

""For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace and joy in the Holy Ghost." (Romans 14:17)

""But this I say, he which soweth sparingly shall also reap sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully"(II Corinthians 9:2).

""I see the Lord always before me, for he is at my right hand so that I will not be shaken." (Acts 2:25)

The promises of God are powerful and awesome to grasp. I pray that these scriptures about God’s promises are helpful to you today. Invoke, pray God's promises over your life's troubles and problems. For health, for money (remember the story of the Fish that had money in it?, the widow who gathered pots and God made her oil not run out until every pot was filled, then she sold it to pay her debts?; and then how God provided the widow of Zerephath oil and flour every day until the famine ended? so many miracles! They were given to us to know how we can claim Bible verse promises today and receive the gifts of God = we have UNLIMITED WISHES ALREADY GRANTED! WE JUST HAVE TO ACTIVATE THEM! BY OBEDIENCE TO HIS COMMANDMENTS AND ASKING, CLAIMING BIBLE VERSE PROMISES!), for anything we need!

Standing on the promises I cannot fall,
Listening every moment to the Spirit’s call
Resting in my Savior as my all in all,
Standing on the promises of God.

2 Peter 1:4 And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.

Romans 9:4 Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises;

Romans 15:8 Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:

2 Corinthians 1:20 For all the promises of God in him are YEA (YES!), and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

2 Corinthians 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Galatians 3:21 Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.

Do you want to be prosperous? Do you want to be healthy? Do you want to have enough food in your pantry to be able to invite others over to share in God's bountiful blessings upon you?

The Word of God tells us HOW to do that! Read Joshua 1:8:

"This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night (Does that sound like a lot?! YES!), that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for THEN thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and THEN thou shalt have good success" Joshua 1:8.

"12 “And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require from you, but to fear [and worship] the Lord your God [with awe-filled reverence and profound respect], to walk [that is, to live each and every day] in all His ways and to love Him, and to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul [your choices, your thoughts, your whole being]"
Deuteronomy 10:12Amplified Bible (AMP).

"3 So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord"
Deuteronomy 8:3 (NKJV)

"ALL the MIRACLES of Christ performed for the afflicted and suffering were, by the POWER OF GOD, through the ministration of angels" Review and Herald January 21, 1873.

When we don't immediately receive an answer to our prayer requests, we are to PRAISE AND THANK HIM! Because He IS answering our prayers in the WAY it is best for us and it is to test our faith in His glorious Bible verse PROMISES. Pray the promises of God, trace your fingers over them and claim them! Pray, believe and receive. Pray, doubt and do without. When You Don't Get Your Answer Praise Him!

#1 By faith, enter the Third Heaven, go into the Most Holy Place by faith, into the Throne room of God, because you ARE the Ark of the Covenant today, your body is to be a sacred, set apart vessel wholly unto the Lord. The Spirit of Christ is to be IN you, and you IN Christ, and Christ is IN His Father:

"Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions" Psalm 51:1.

Grumbling and complaining are a sin! "Do all things without murmurings and disputings" Philippians 2:14. REPENT of grumbling and complaining!

Download sermon notes about being merciful here.

"15 Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people, and bring his blood within the vail, and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it upon the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat:16 And he shall make an atonement for the holy place, because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their transgressions in all their sins: and so shall he do for the tabernacle of the congregation, that remaineth among them in the midst of their uncleanness. 17 And there shall be no man in the tabernacle of the congregation when he goeth in to make an atonement in the holy place, until he come out, and have made an atonement for himself, and for his household, and for all the congregation of Israel" Leviticus 16:15-17 (KJV).

"Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy" Matthew 5:7. This symbolizes the mercy seat on the Ark of the Covenant, which is our body today. We are to come before God, in the Most Holy Place, because WE ARE the Ark of the Covenant, with the Law of God written to our hearts by the finger of God. "Our hearts" means our desires, our daily little choices, our will. We can and must give our will to Christ so that He can work in us to do His will and good pleasure in us.

"And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. Exodus 20:6.

Jesus is merciful to those who have broken His heart. To those that have come to Him and confessed. Those who forsake their sins. Sin is a transgression of the Law Exodus 20:3-17.

"I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more" Isaiah 43:25.

34 And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again. 35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. 36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful" Luke 6:34-36(KJV)

"37 And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise" Luke 10:37 (KJV).

"Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots" Luke 23:34.

"In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed" 1 Corinthians 15:52.

"Notwithstanding the widespread declension of faith and piety, there are true followers of Christ in these churches. Before the final visitation of God's judgments upon the earth there will be among the people of the Lord such a revival of primitive godliness as has not been witnessed since apostolic times. The Spirit and power of God will be poured out upon His children. At that time many will separate themselves from those churches in which the love of this world has supplanted love for God and His word. Many, both of ministers and people, will gladly accept those great truths which God has caused to be proclaimed at this time to prepare a people for the Lord's second coming. The enemy of souls desires to hinder this work; and before the time for such a movement shall come, he will endeavor to prevent it by introducing a counterfeit. In those churches which he can bring under his deceptive power he will make it appear that God's special blessing is poured out; there will be manifest what is thought to be great religious interest. Multitudes will exult that God is working marvelously for them, when the work is that of another spirit. Under a religious guise, Satan will seek to extend his influence over the Christian world" GC 464.1.

"And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory (character=thoughts and feelings)" Exodus 33:18.

"21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. 22 And of some have compassion, making a difference: 23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. 24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy" Jude 21-24(KJV).

"Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy" Matthew 5:7.

4th Commandment: "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;" Exodus 20:4-5.

"9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture (mercy) into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. 12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus" Revelation 14:9-12 (KJV).

Matthew 4: serve means to worship.... Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God and Him only shalt thou serve... "Don't you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey--whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness?" Romans 6:16.

"And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear" Isaiah 65:24.

"Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us" Ephesians 3:20.

"It was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints" Revelation 19:8. Like Esther was GIVEN what she wore before the King:

#1 Surrender:

Saving Grace
I saw how this grace could be obtained. Go to your closet, and there alone plead with God: “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” Be in earnest, be sincere. Fervent prayer availeth much. Jacob-like, wrestle in prayer. Agonize. Jesus in the garden sweat great drops of blood; you must make an effort. Do not leave your closet until you feel strong in God; then watch, and just as long as you watch and pray you can keep these evil besetments under, and the grace of God can and will appear in you. { MYP 131.3}
God forbid that I should cease to warn you. Young friends, seek the Lord with all your heart. Come with zeal, and when you sincerely feel that without the help of God you perish, when you pant after Him as the hart panteth after the water-brooks, then will the Lord strengthen you speedily. Then will your peace pass all understanding. If you expect salvation, you must pray. Take time. Be not hurried and careless in your prayers. Beg of God to work in you a thorough reformation, that the fruits of His Spirit may dwell in you, and you shine as lights in the world. Be not a hindrance or curse to the cause of God; you can be a help, a blessing. Does Satan tell you that you cannot enjoy salvation, full and free? Believe him not. { MYP 132.1}

Say: “Lord, help me to do my best. Teach me how to do better work. Give me energy and cheerfulness. Help me to bring into my service the loving ministry of the Saviour” The Ministry of Healing, p. 474.

Say: “Lord, take my heart; for I cannot give it. It is Thy property. Keep it pure, for I cannot keep it for Thee. Save me in spite of myself, my weak, unchristlike self. Mold me, fashion me, raise me into a pure and holy atmosphere, where the rich current of Thy love can flow through my soul" Christ’s Object Lessons, p. 159.3.

Say: “Take me, O Lord, as wholly Thine. I lay all my plans at Thy feet. Use me today in Thy service. Abide with me, and let all my work be wrought in Thee” Steps to Christ, p. 70.1.

“Say, I come to present myself to God in the name of him who has died for me. I give my heart to Jesus, and I desire his blessing and his Spirit;" and the power (character=thoughts and feelings) of God will come upon you” ST FEB. 22, 1892.

"I prayed that we might be baptized into Christ's sufferings, that we might not shrink at trials, but bear them with patience and joy, knowing what Jesus had suffered that we through His poverty and sufferings might be made rich. Said the angel, "Deny self; ye must step fastEarly Writings, p. 67.2 (Ellen G. White).

"Say, I have done as Thou hast said. I present Thy Promise, "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you"  Christ’s Object Lessons, p. 147.2.

"As the believer bows in supplication before God, and in humility and contrition offers his petition from unfeigned lips, keeping his eyes fixed steadily on the Mediator of the new covenant, he loses all thought of self. His mind is filled with the thought of what he must have in order to build up a Christlike character. He prays, “Lord, if I am to be a channel through which thy love is to flow day by day and hour by hour, I claim by faith the grace and power that thou hast promised." He fastens his hold firmly on the promise, “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering.” The Review and Herald January 27, 1903, Art. A paragraph 7 (Ellen G. White).

“You know I cannot do this work in my own strength. You must work in me, and by me and through me, sanctifying my tongue, sanctifying my spirit, sanctifying my words, and bringing me into a position where my spirit shall be susceptible to the movings of the Holy Spirit of God upon my mind and character.” (Manuscript Release, Vol.7, pgs. 267, 268 (Ms 95, 1906, pp. 8-12, 14-17; "Lesson from Romans 15," October 20, 1906.)

Pray for yourself, in the name of Christ. Pray earnestly, fervently, sincerely. I hope that your life may be spared, and that you may give yourself wholly to repentance. Come to the Lord, and surrender all to Him. You must, or you will be taken captive by the enemy.

You must place yourself at the feet of Christ as a learner, else you will surely fail of obtaining the overcomer’s reward. Lay off your commanding, kingly authority, and become one of God’s little children. Until you are willing to study and obey God’s will, you will be overcome by temptations and led to do strange things, which will disqualify you for filling a position of influence.

The work rests upon us to perfect holinessWhen God sees us doing all we can on our part, then He will help us.Angels will aid us, and we shall be strong through Christ strengthening us. Do not neglect secret prayer. Pray for yourself. Grow in grace. Advance. Don’t stand still, don’t go back. Onward to victory. Courage in the Lord! Battle with the great adversary only a little longer, and then release will come, and the armor will be laid off at the feet of our dear Redeemer. Press through every obstacle. If the future looks somewhat clouded, hope on, believe on. The clouds will disappear, and light again shine. Praise God, my heart says, praise God for what He has done for you.

We must learn to pray like this after surrendering to God in the name of His Son and repenting, laying all on the altar of sacrifice, offering the calves of our lips which is thanksgiving and Praise to God for our trials and sufferings and GIFTS sent to us from above:

“It was a difficult task for the Prince of life to carry out the plan which He had undertaken for the salvation of man, in clothing His divinity with humanity. He had received honor in the heavenly courts, and was familiar with absolute powerIt was as difficult for Him to keep the level of humanity as for men to rise above the low level of their depraved natures and be partakers of the divine nature” The Review and Herald April 1, 1875 paragraph 2 (Ellen G. White).

Will you not repent and be converted? Will you not act every moment with the realization that you are under the divine scrutiny? Will you not make God your companion in all your work? His holiness, His justice, His truth, should purify your words and actions.

You need to stop and consider that there is a God. He has spoken good in your behalf, and He will be much displeased if you deal unjustly with His heritage.

You should not neglect diligent study, but should pray for light from God that He would open to your understanding the treasures of His word, that you may be thoroughly furnished unto all good works. You will never be in a position where it is not necessary for you to watch and pray earnestly in order to overcome your besetments. You will need to be guarded continually to keep self out of sight. Do no encourage a habit of making yourself very prominent, dwelling upon your family difficulties and your poor health. In short, do not make yourself the theme of your conversation and have it come in between you and your Saviour. You should forget self and hide behind Jesus. Let the dear Saviour be magnified, but lose sight of self. When you see and feel your weakness you will not see that there is anything in yourself worthy of notice or remark.

Hide yourself in Jesus; let self-love and self-pride be sacrificed, and you, my son, be fitting with a rich Christian experience, to be of use in any position that God may require you to occupy. Seek for thorough heartwork. A surface work will not stand the test of the judgment. Seek for thorough transformation from the world. Let not your hands be stained, your heart spotted, your character sullied, by its corruptions. Keep distinct. God calls: ‘Come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, and will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be My sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.’ ‘Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.’

You will feast upon the glorious promises of His Word.

The work rests upon us to perfect holinessWhen God sees us doing all we can on our part, then He will help us
. Angels will aid us, and we shall be strong through Christ strengthening us. Do not neglect secret prayer. Pray for yourself. Grow in grace. Advance. Don’t stand still, don’t go back. Praise God, my heart says, praise God for what He has done for you.

We know not what results a day, an hour, or a moment may determine, and never should we begin the day without committing our ways (my WAY is in the Sanctuary - in the Most Holy Place Psalm 77:13) to our heavenly Father.... When unconsciously we are in danger of exerting a wrong influence, the angels will be by our side, prompting us to a better course, choosing our words for us, and influencing our actions. Thus our influence may be a silent, unconscious, but mighty power in drawing others to Christ and the heavenly world"—Christ’s Object Lessons, 340-342.

Re 19:8 And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.

Ro 5:5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

It is the Spirit that makes effectual what has been wrought out by the world’s Redeemer. It is by the Spirit that the heart is made pure. Through the Spirit the believer becomes a partaker of the divine nature. Christ has given His Spirit as a divine power to overcome all hereditary and cultivated tendencies to evil, and to impress His own character upon His church. { DA 671.2}

Love to Christ will be the spring of action. Those who feel the constraining love of God, do not ask how little may be given to meet the requirements of God; they do not ask for the lowest standard, but aim at perfect conformity to the will of their Redeemer. With earnest desire they yield all and manifest an interest proportionate to the value of the object which they seek. A profession of Christ without this deep love is mere talk, dry formality, and heavy drudgery. { SC 44.2}

Not even by a thought did He yield to temptation. So it may be with us. Christ’s humanity was united with divinity; He was fitted for the conflict by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. And He came to make us partakers of the divine nature. So long as we are united to Him by faith, sin has no more dominion over us. God reaches for the hand of faith in us to direct it to lay fast hold upon the divinity of Christ, that we may attain to perfection of character.—The Desire of Ages, 123 (1898).

Real piety begins when all compromise with sin is at an end.—Thoughts from the Mount of Blessing, 125.

By His perfect obedience He has made it possible for every human being to obey God’s commandments. When we submit ourselves to Christ, the heart is united with His heart, the will is merged in His will, the mind becomes one with His mind, the thoughts are brought into captivity to Him; we live His life. This is what it means to be clothed with the garment of His righteousness. Then as the Lord looks upon us He sees, not the fig-leaf garment, not the nakedness and deformity of sin, but His own robe of righteousness, which is perfect obedience to the law of Jehovah. { COL 311.4}

“To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with Me in My throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with My Father in His throne.” We can overcome. Yes; fully, entirely. Jesus died to make a way of escape for us, that we might overcome every evil temper, every sin, every temptation, and sit down at last with Him. { 1T 144.2}

Here is what is recommended to have the above experience:

Many are leaning upon a supposed hope, without a true foundation. The fountain is not cleansed, therefore the streams proceeding from that fountain are not pure. Cleanse the fountain, and the streams will be pure. { MYP 131.1}

If the heart is right, your words, your dress, your acts will all be right. True godliness is lacking. I would not dishonor my Master so much as to admit that a careless, trifling, prayerless person is a Christian. No; a Christian has victory over his besetments, over his passions. There is a remedy for the sin-sick soul. That remedy is in Jesus. Precious Saviour! His grace is sufficient for the weakest; and the strongest must also have His grace or perish. { MYP 131.2}

Saving Grace
I saw how this grace could be obtained. Go to your closet, and there alone plead with God: “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” Be in earnest, be sincere. The First Steps
It is the privilege of every Christian to enjoy the deep movings of the Spirit of God. A sweet, heavenly peace will pervade the mind, and you will love to meditate upon God and heaven. You will feast upon the glorious promises of His word. But know first that you have begun the Christian course. Know that the first steps are taken in the road to everlasting life. Be not deceived. I fear, yea, I know that many of you know not what religion is. You have felt some excitement, some emotion, but have never seen sin in its enormity. You have never felt your undone condition, and turned from your evil ways with bitter sorrow. You have never died to the world. You still love its pleasures; you love to engage in conversation on worldly matters. But when the truth of God is introduced, you have nothing to say. Why so silent! Why so talkative upon worldly things, and so silent upon the subject that should most concern you,—a subject that should engage your whole soul? The truth of God does not dwell in you.—Testimonies for the Church 1:158, 159.

SAMPLE PRAYER TO PRAY TO GET GENERATIONAL CURSES REMOVED FROM YOU AND YOUR BLOODLINE: (Prayer to pray to break generational curses over you and yours):

Our Father, in the name of Jesus, the one who died for me, I hang my helpless soul upon Christ and claim His blood sacrifice 2000 years ago as my own. I am claiming the blood of Jesus over my sins as a son or a daughter of the King of the Universe. And I realize that my Saviour paid the price for me on the cross. He became my substitute for sin. He became my substitute for sickness and disease. With His Strips I WAS healed 2,000 years ago. He became my substitute for the curse, which was put on us. And since He redeemed me from the curse. I now confess the sins of my forefathers, to generations back to Adam and Eve and down through the generations to me and my children and their children, and bloodlines, FOREVER. I break by FAITH every curse of everybody in my family line that was given legal right to me by the devil. I am now taking the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, and I am drawing a line in the sand, Satan. And from this moment forth, I am redeemed from the curse. And since I know I am redeemed by the faith of the Son of God who died for me, help my unbelief, God of Heaven, make my belief perfect like yours, because it is written in God's Word; and I have broken all these curses. I have spoken it with my mouth. I have believed it with my heart. I now realize that you no more have any legal right to me, Satan, so I demand every demon that is in me, that has had authority over me, all of these years that have made me sick and afflicted me. That you will leave me and that you will go to the abyss, and you will never re-enter my body again, ever, in the name of Jesus, because I will walk wholly before the King, and I will not give you no more legal right to me, and I break this for my children, and the bloodline in the future. And from this day forth it's BROKEN, by FAITH, I've done it, in Jesus Name. And when you speak that by faith, you've broken that curse, and you're delivered. PRAISE AND THANK GOD! WORSHIP HIM! WORSHIP HIM THROUGH OBEDIENCE TO HIS COMMANDS!

“And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it.” This promise is given on condition: “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” The ten commandments, Thou shalt, and, Thou shalt not, are ten promises secured to us if we render obedience to the law governing the universe. A certain lawyer came to Christ, saying: “Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou? And he answering, said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself. And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.” This is the sum and substance of the law of God.
