“I heard THOSE clothed with the armor (Life of Christ/John 6:37 3 angel's messages) speak forth the truth with great power. It had effect. Many had been bound; SOME WIVES BY THEIR HUSBANDS, and some children by their parents. The honest who had been prevented from hearing the truth now eagerly laid hold upon it. All fear of their relatives was gone, and the truth alone was exalted to them. THEY HAD BEEN HUNGERING AND THIRSTING FOR TRUTH; IT WAS DEARER AND MORE PRECIOUS THAN LIFE. I asked what had made this great change. An angel answered, “It is the latter rain, the refreshing from the presence of the Lord, the loud cry of the third angel Early Writings, p.271.

"Brother Cushman has four daughters. Two have been married and have children, but are now at home, their husbands being so opposed that they could not live with them, and they brought both of their wives to Brother Cushman’s, and their children. They are very interesting women. The two youngest are 20 and 17. Margaret is 20, Anna is 17, I believe. Then he has another daughter married in the faith, and one son married and one unmarried. They are good children" Lt 3, 1851 (August 11, 1851) par. 4.

"In the battle with inward corruptions and outward temptations, even the wise and powerful Solomon was vanquished. It is not safe to permit the least departure from the strictest integrity. “Abstain from all appearance of evil.” When a woman relates her family troubles, or complains of her husbandto another man, she violates her marriage vows; she dishonors her husband and breaks down the wall erected to preserve the sanctity of the marriage relation; she throws wide open the door and invites Satan to enter with his insidious temptations. This is just as Satan would have it. If a woman comes to a Christian brother with a tale of her woes, her disappointments and trials, he should ever advise her, if she must confide her troubles to someone, to select sisters for her confidantsand then there will be no appearance of evil whereby the cause of God may suffer reproach" (2T 306.1), Testimonies for the Church, vol. 2, p. 306.1 (Ellen G. No Deaths Among God’s People After Probation Closes—After Jesus rises up from the mediatorial throne, every case will be decided, and oppression and death coming to God’s people will not then be a testimony in favor of the truth....

We urge you to consider this danger: That which we have most to fear is nominal Christianity(nominal means in NAME only = sayers but not doers of the truth) We have many who profess the truth who will be overcome because they are not acquainted with the Lord Jesus Christ. They cannot distinguish His voice from that of a stranger. There is to be no dread of anyone being borne down even in a widespread apostasy, who has a living experience in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. If Jesus be formed within, the hope of glory, the illiterate as well as the educated can bear the testimony of our faith, saying, “I know in whom I have believed.” Some will not, in argument, be able to show wherein their adversary is wronghaving never had any advantages that others have had, yet these are not overborne by the apostasy, because they have the evidence in their own heart that they have the truth, and the most subtle reasoning and assaults of Satan cannot move them from their knowledge of the truth, and they have not a doubt or fear that they are themselves in error....

When profligacy and heresy and infidelity fill the land, there will be many humble homes where prayer, sincere and contrite prayer, will be offered from those who have never heard the truth, and there will be many hearts that will carry a weight of oppression for the dishonor done to God. We are too narrow in our ideas, we are poor judges, for many of these will be accepted of God because they cherish every ray of light that shone upon them.—Manuscript 6, 1889.

"At the transfiguration, Jesus was glorified by His Father. We hear Him say: “Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in Him.” John 13:31. Thus before His betrayal and crucifixion He was strengthened for His last dreadful sufferings. As the members of the body of Christ approach the period of their last conflict, “the time of Jacob’s trouble,” (Aug 5, 2016 - see this page for more info about this here) they will grow up into Christ, and will partake largely of His spirit. As the third message swells to a loud cry, and as great power and glory attend the closing work, the faithful people of God will partake of that glory. It is the latter rain (testing perfecting messages like the vegan diet, dress reform, keep the 7th day Sabbath Holy from sundown Friday night to Sundown Saturday, worship God only and not the trinity of gods, come OUT of all 501c3 denominational government churches who CANNOT preach the truth today by law, etc) which revives and strengthens them to pass through the time of trouble. Their faces will shine with the glory (character=thoughts and feelings = truth assimilated into our daily choices that become habits) of that light which attends the third angel.

"A glorious light then rested down upon these companies, to enlighten all who would receive it. Some of those who were in darkness received the light and rejoiced. Others (501c3 Adventists) resisted the light from heaven, saying that it was sent to lead them astray. The light passed away from them, and they were left in darkness. Those who had received the light from Jesus joyfully cherished the increase of precious light which was shed upon them. Their faces beamed with holy joy, while their gaze was directed upward to Jesus with intense interest, and their voices were heard in harmony with the voice of the angel, “Fear God, and give glory to Him; for the hour of His judgment is come.” As they raised this cry, I saw those who were in darkness thrusting them with side and with shoulder. Then many who cherished the sacred light, broke the cords which confined them and stood out separated from those companies. As they were doing this, men belonging to the different companies (501c3 Adventist preachers/leaders) and revered by them passed through, some with pleasing words, and others with wrathful looks and threatening gestures, and fastened the cords which were weakening. These men (501c3 Adventist preachers/leaders/teachers) were constantly saying, “God is with us. We stand in the light. We have the truth.” I inquired who these men were, and was told that they were ministers and leading men who had rejected the light themselves, and were unwilling that others should receive it." Spiritual Gifts, vol. 1, p. 144.2Early Writings, p. 240.2

To the parents I made an appeal in behalf of the church in the home. Fathers and mothers have the privilege of studying the Bible with their children, and of training and disciplining them for service in the Master's cause. In every instance where discipline is necessary, the tenderness and patience that God manifests toward us, is to be revealed. Correction administered in love will touch and tender the hearts of the children, and accomplish far more than would sternness and harshness. As parents pray, and strive to deal wisely with their children, heavenly angels will work in their behalf. RH July 12, 1906, par. 8

God desires parents to take hold of their work intelligently, because we have only a little time in which to prepare for the return of the Saviour. We are admonished of the nearness of the end by the calamity that has befallen San Francisco. Christ declared that earthquakes and other judgments would be seen in divers places. By these he desires to demonstrate that he hates iniquity, and that at last he will punish transgressors. He will forbear, and forbear, and forbear; but finally he can forbear no longer. RH July 12, 1906, par. 9

In the days of Abraham the Lord declared, “The iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.” He would not at that time allow them to be destroyed. In this is revealed the long-sufferance of God. The Amorites were at enmity against his law; they believed not in him as the true and living God; but among them were a few good persons, and for the sake of these few, he forbore long. Centuries afterward, when the Israelites returned from Egypt to the promised land, the Amorites were “cast out before the children of Israel.” They finally suffered calamity because of continued wilful disregard of the law of God. RH July 12, 1906, par. 10

Our brethren and sisters in the San Diego church, and in many other churches as well, have the privilege of training the youth so conscientiously in a knowledge of the truths of God's Word that these youth will be able to meet the people where they are, and introduce the third angel's message into many homes. Thus many of our youth will develop rapidly into missionaries who can labor from house to house. RH July 12, 1906, par. 11

It is difficult to find capable young men and young women who can enter the cities and do effective service. In these tourist centers where many travelers come for health and pleasure, we greatly need young men who are thoroughly grounded in the truths of the third angel's message, to go around among the people, and minister to them, speaking a word in season to this one, and offering encouragement to another. We greatly need consecrated women who, as messengers of mercy, shall visit the mothers and the children in their homes, and help them in the every-day household duties, if need be, before beginning to talk to them regarding the truth for this time. You will find that by this method you will have souls as the result of your ministry. RH July 12, 1906, par. 12

Am I meeting the requirements of the law of God?

The question of deepest interest to each one should be, Am I meeting the requirements of the law of God? ... Only by a close examination of self in the light of God’s Word can we discover our deviations from His holy rule of right.... In Him we may have pardon for past failures, and in His strength grow up to be perfect men and women in Christ Jesus (Youth’s Instructor, June 10, 1897).

His STRENGTH: Faith claims God's promises, and brings forth fruit in obedience. Promises like John 6:37 "Him that cometh unto me I will in no wise cast out".

Claim Jude 1:24 "Now unto him (Christ) that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy," and other verses like it (The Lord will make us holy (1 Thes 5:23-24), Romans 16:25, 2 Corinthians 4:14, Revelation 14:5, Psalm 32:2, Zephaniah 3:13, Malachi 2:6, Hebrews 9:14, 1 Peter 1:19, Luke 21:151 Peter 3:10, Leviticus 20:26Psalm 39:1, Psalm 141:3, Proverbs 13:3, Proverbs 18:21, James 3:2,5-10, Proverbs 10:19, Proverbs 21:23, Matthew 12:34, James 1:4, James 1:26, 1 John 1:8, James 3:5,6, Psalm 12:3, Proverbs 26:20, Proverbs 12:18, Proverbs 12:17, Proverbs 15:4, Proverbs 25:18, Proverbs 4:22, Psalm 59:7, Psalm 55:21, Psalm 94:4, Proverbs 15:28 ) as your very own. We become the special dwelling place of the only God and His only Son.

"Among the Jews a man was permitted to put away his wife for the most trivial offenses, and the woman was then at liberty to marry again. This practice led to great wretchedness and sin. In the Sermon on the Mount Jesus declared plainly that there could be no dissolution of the marriage tie, except for unfaithfulness to the marriage vow. “Everyone,” He said, “that putteth away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, maketh her an adulteress: and whosoever shall marry her when she is put away committeth adultery.” R.V.

When the Pharisees afterward questioned Him concerning the lawfulness of divorce, Jesus pointed His hearers back to the marriage institution as ordained at creation. “Because of the hardness of your hearts,” He said, Moses “suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.” Matthew 19:8. He referred them to the blessed days of Eden, when God pronounced all things “very good.” Then marriage and the Sabbath had their origin, twin institutions for the glory of God in the benefit of humanityThen, as the Creator joined the hands of the holy pair in wedlock, saying, A man shall “leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one” (Genesis 2:24), He enunciated the law of marriage for all the children of Adam to the close of time. That which the Eternal Father Himself had pronounced good was the law of highest blessing and development for man." Thoughts from the Mount of Blessing, p. 63.2

June 16, 2014 was one of the most exciting days of

my life! As much as I love my children, it eclipsed

even their births. A very, very distant relative

contacted me who I have been close friends with

ever since childhood. He wanted to marry me and

adopt all four of my girls! He said he wanted a

answer, today! It was now or never!

He has always liked me a lot, and even had

asked me to marry him a couple of times, once when I

was a teenager and once after my divorce from my first

husband. I’d never given him a yes or even a no. For

some reason, even though I liked him and trusted him,

he was just not “cute” enough for a teenager. He always

was getting me lots of nice gifts. He was easy to talk to,

caring and above all very patient with me. Maybe he

was a little too good, if that is possible!

Someone else caught my eye, and I married him.

I thought he would take good care of me. He was a

preacher, a singer, a teacher, a real estate broker. He

could do anything he set his mind to do.  But, for

problems I won’t get into here the proverbial straw

broke the camels back and we divorced. It was a terrible

three year divorce. But throughout this divorce, my

distant relative helped me out financially and was my

friend. We became a little better acquainted. He again

asked me to marry him. He also said he wanted to

adopt both of my girls as his very own. He told me his

very wealthy philanthropic Father had put everything he

owned into his care. He said I would never have to

worry about anything. That whatever my girls or I

needed just say the word and it would be ours! Again, I

never really told the man yes or no to his marriage

proposal. He was not a pushy person.

I met my second husband who swept me off my

feet. His wife had been cheating on him for over half

their 25 year marriage so we had something in

common. We soon had two more girls for a total of four

beautiful children!

My distant relative stayed friends with me

throughout both of my marriages. Always there for me,

helping me out financially whenever needed. Always, he

was a true friend, even to both of my husbands.

My distant relative was very close to God and

always encouraged me to go to God with any of my

problems. He said if I put God first in my life all my

perplexities would vanish and a plain path for me to

follow would appear to me.

When I began to have serious trouble in my

second marriage, my distant relative encouraged me

even more to go to God with all my troubles. My distant

relative started to help me even more than ever. He

provided many things for me. He was never

inappropriate to me ever. He was always the perfect

Back to June 16, 2014: “Well,” he said patiently

again, “Will you marry me? We may never have another

chance,” he continued. “I still want to marry you! I still

want to adopt all your girls as my very own!” I talked to

my father and asked his permission to marry you – he

approves. He said he would love to have you as a

daughter in our family! He also can’t wait to be Grandpa

to your girls! He will spoil them rotten! I have had two

custom homes built for you, Cindy, he continued; one in

the city and one in the country. I spared no expense,

because I love you and want to provide the very best

that I can afford to give you Cindy. I said, “oh, you

shouldn’t have done so much!” He said, you and the

girls will love the custom built homes, they will each

have their own rooms and lots of toys to play with.

“Will you marry me? Again the question came.

“YES!, of course I’ll marry you! I should have married

you the first time you asked!” He was ecstatic! He was

beside himself with joy! He said, invite anyone you want

to come to our wedding! Let’s get married soon! How

about September 18, 2014?

He knew I was planning to go to campmeeting

and be baptized into Jesus name in September. He said

Tennessee would be a beautiful place to get married! I

said that sounded like a good plan! He said he wanted

our wedding colors to be pure white and I added

excitedly, that we could have our wedding and reception

decorations be the color of the rainbow and also could

be a sign of our eternal commitment to each other. He

really liked that. He told me that his Father would like to

be in charge of preparing the wedding reception dinner.

Since his Father was very wealthy and owned a clothing

chain, he had a whole staff of tailors. He said to go out

and invite tons of people to our wedding! That he

wanted to provide the tuxedos and evening gowns for

all who wanted to come to our wedding reception! He

also said he wanted to provide the transportation of all

our wedding guests personally. He would send limos

and private planes to pick everyone up for the wedding

and wedding reception. He wanted them to be there at

least two days before the wedding so they could all be

fitted for their fancy wedding tuxedos and evening

My father wants to pay for everything. He will

spare no expense for our wedding, reception and for

each of our wedding and reception guests. Their

slightest wish is our command. All they have to do is to

ask and it’s theirs. My Father will provide all their

requests right when what they ask for it and as it is

needed the most – he will give it to them.  My Father

has the best concierge services ever provided.

Something awakened me about 5:00 am. As was my

habit, I started to pray and commune with God and His

Son. I said, “I love you God. I love you Jesus”. I had

been fasting for 21 days prior to this experience. I

wanted to know my Shepherds voice. I wanted to follow

Him and Him only. I felt His Presence brush over me,

like angels wings. Instantly, I knew it was Jesus. Within

a 1 or 2 minute time-frame, my life and how he has

wanted to be my husband since I was a little girl flashed

before me. He was saying, I still want to marry you,

Cindy. I want to adopt all four of your children as my

own. I will protect you and your children. I will be your

fiancé. I will become your husband when you marry me

– when you are baptized into my name. The details kept

coming to me. How I had rejected him – because he

was not so “cute” or “interesting” when I married my first

husband. But, still he waited patiently for me. As a next

of Kin, he helped me through the good times and

especially the bad. He reminded me how he had wanted

to marry me after my divorce from my first husband. I

never told him yes or no. I did like him, I just did not

spend time with him, getting to know and love him like a

When I married my second husband, he was crushed.

But still, he waited patiently for me. He loved me

whether I loved him back or not. It was true love. Right

from the start. When things started to go bad in my

second marriage, we started communicating much

more. He would always encourage me to put God first in

my life, and everything would work out. He helped me

out tons financially and as a true friend throughout my

life. I separated from my second husband on December

The man talking to me early in the morning of June

16, 2014 was telling me that he had asked his wealthy

philanthropist Father for permission to marry me. That he

had been given his blessing. That he also was given

permission to adopt all four of my girls. His Father

wanted to be Grandpa to my girls! We can be fitted for

heaven only through a transformation of character; we

must have Christ’s righteousness as our credentials, if

we would find access to the Father. He told me he had

prepared a mansion for me at his Father’s house in

Heaven. He said, Well? Will you marry me now? I said

“Of course! I should have married you long ago!”

He was etatic! He was beside Himself with joy! He

said, invite anyone you want to come to our wedding!

(Baptism into Christ’s name according to Acts 2:38). He

continued; let’s have our wedding colors be pure white

and rainbow. Because my righteousness (truth about

me) will cover you. We can have our colors be the color

of the rainbow. You can invite anyone you want to. My

father wants to have a wedding reception for us. He will

spare no expense! A wedding banquet. A huge wedding

party! He said he will provide the white tuxedos and

white evening gowns for everyone we want to invite. He

will make all the preparations for everyone we invite to

our wedding reception. He wants you to invite everyone

you possibly can to share in our joy. My Father, since

he is getting so old, he continues, has put all of His

wealth into my hands. He has a clothing chain, and lots

of tailors on staff and transportation and nicest

accommodations. My father wants to pay for everything.

He will spare no expense for our wedding, reception

and for each of our wedding and reception guests. Their

slightest wish is our command. All they have to do is to

ask and it’s theirs. My Father will provide all their

requests right when what they ask for is needed the

most. My Father has the best concierge services ever

My new fiancé, as of June 16, 2014 went on to say, I

will provide you with the things you need for your

wedding trousseau. (the clothes, household linen, and

other belongings collected by a bride for her marriage.)

He said, I have a palace I’ve prepared
