John 1:13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.

1 Peter 1:23 For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.

1 John 3:6 (KJV) "Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him."

1 John 4:7 "Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God."

1 John 5:1 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well.

1 John 5:18 We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the one who was born of God keeps him safe, and the evil one cannot harm him.

3 John 1:11 Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Anyone who does what is good is from God. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God.

1 John 3:10 This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother.

1 John 4:1 Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

Psalm 34:14 Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.

1 John 5:4 for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.

Acts 3:26 (KJV) "Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him (Jesus) to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities." Galatians 5:13 You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love.

GOD HAS PROMISED US IN HIS WORD: Philippians 4:13 (KJV) "I can do ALL things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Just as Peter cried to Jesus, "Lord, Save me or I perish" when he was walking on the water to Jesus, we through Jesus have access to the exact same power that Peter did TODAY! God is the same today as He was from the beginning of this world. God does not change. It may feel like you are walking on water, like Peter, just about to sink when tempted by Satan, as you are learning how not to sin, but Jesus will help you INSTANTLY, if you ask Him too.

THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT:

"Consecrate yourself to God in the morning; make this your very first work. Let your prayer be, "Take me, O LORD, as wholly Thine. I lay all my plans at Thy feet. Use me today in Thy service. Abide with me, and let all my work be wrought in Thee." This is a daily matter. Each morning consecrate yourself to God for that day. Surrender all your plans to Him, to be carried out or given up as His providence shall indicate. Thus day by day you may be giving your life into the hands of God, and thus your life will be molded more and more after the life of Christ." {SC, Chap.8}

INSTANTLY, this very second, you can be filled with the very life of Jesus. This is what KEEPS you from sinning. All you have to do is BELIEVE and KEEP BELIEVING that Jesus, God's only begotten Son died to SAVE YOU! It is NOT something you earn by some merit or work, it's a GIFT from God Himself to you thru His Son. All you have to do is to believe! THAT is your ONLY work, to BELIEVE in Jesus. Cry to Jesus, "SAVE ME FROM MYSELF!" Surrender YOURsoul to Jesus keeping, your life to His ordering. You will then find yourself thinking & saying Heavenly thoughts like, "Jesus! my blessed Redeemer, Saviour; ALL Glory to the living eternal God, my Jesus's Heavenly Daddy! MY SAVIOUR, my ALL in ALL!"

  • John 17:3 "And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true Godand Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent."
  • Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
  • 1 John 2:25 "And this is the promise that he hath promised useven eternal life."
This is how you become a member of God's Invisible Church: BELIEVE IN JESUS! You will find yourself thinking Jesus thoughts, doing what Jesus did & does, loving everyone, like Jesus does. We rest from "our" work (Hebrews 4:3 "For we which have believed do enter into rest, ...") and magically find ourselves doing things the way Jesus would do. Because Jesus lives in us and is shining out of us in every way. When you are tempted to sin, (even Jesus was tempted, but did not sin) send up a quick prayer, "Jesus! Help me! Save me from myself!". It works, every time. Keep saying it until the temptation leaves you. The devil has no power over Jesus. If you are born again, the Bible says you cannot commit sin. BELIEVE! Believe in Jesus! He will SAVE us. Check out the page for more on "How To Be Sin-Free" here. Don't put it off, do it right NOW. Find out just how close we are to the end of this world, here. Really and truly there is not much time left. Don't delay in taking Jesus as YOUR personal Saviour. We could die at any second and be eternally lost. Take Jesus NOW!

In these last days, just before Jesus returns to get those who love Him; the devil is working especially hard to deceive us. The devil wants to be worshiped like God & Jesus. The only way to be able to spot a counterfeit worship deception of the devil, is to KNOW the TRUTH, from God's Holy Word, the Bible. The counterfeiter Master is Satan. In these last days, the devil will act and LOOK like Jesus. The ONLY way to tell them apart is whether or not they teach to OBEY the TEN commandments or to DISOBEY them. The devil may whisper to you, "Oh, that commandment is changed, or that one is done away with, or it doesn't matter what God you worship, just so you worship a God." Be careful. This is why the Bible says to study, pray and ASK the living God of Heaven for answers; not man.

The more unselfish & humble we become, the more powerfully God can work through us, by HIS spirit. Zechariah 4:6 "Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts." We can have the same power that Jesus did, to do the same things he did, if we believe in Jesus! We can even pray, "Help me to BELIEVE in you, Jesus!" He promises to hear our prayers. Pray, believe and receive. Pray, doubt and do without. Simple as that.

Ephesians 2:8-9, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."

Faith is the gift of God: “For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him” (Philippians 1:29); “God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith” (Romans 12:3). John 3:18 "He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

1 Peter 1:5 proclaims, "Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time."

Another Way to Think About It:

Think of yourself as a bottle. When you, the bottle is born; you automatically have the dirty old evil Master Satan living inside the bottle, making the contents dirty (our selfish sinful nature inherited from Adam). When you choose to BELIEVE in and ask the Master Jesus to MOVE inside your bottle; your old dirty bottle INSTANTLY becomes a new shiny bottle with clean SINLESS contents inherited from the very LIFE OF JESUS. Evil Master Satan HAS to MOVE OUT. Of course, the Master Jesus will not get inside your old dirty bottle unless invited. Once invited, the Master Jesus then gets inside the bottle; cleans and helps to keep the contents of your bottle clean. You will then "rest" from your work and let Jesus work through you. This has a special meaning. Your new shiny clean bottle has the very LIFE of the MASTER JESUS INSIDE with Jesus SHINING OUT of your transparent bottle in everything you do and say!

Satan is a Master, and Jesus is a Master. In these last days, b
oth Masters, act & LOOK THE SAME, because the evil Master Satan is trying to trick you into thinking he is the good Master Jesus; the only way to tell them apart is: The Master Jesus will teach you to OBEY the Ten Commandments and the bad Master Satan will teach you to DISOBEY them. There is not room in the bottle for both Masters. The old dirty evil Master Satan is constantly trying to get the lid off the new shiny bottle, by tempting you to Sin, so he can change you back into your old dirty bottle with impure dirty contents. But all you have to do is ask your new Master, Jesus, to HELP YOU keep the old dirty evil Master out. Cry to your new Master Jesus, "Jesus, Help Me! Save Me From MYSELF!" Notice, you will not sin, you will only have been tempted to sin by the old dirty evil Satan Master, just as Jesus was tempted; but YOU WILL NOT SIN, when you call out, "JESUS! SAVE ME!". Jesus WILL save you, every time.

Galatians 5:13 You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love.

Jesus Christ in His humanity was, after His ascension, highly exalted by God the Father (Phil. 2:9.)  It is because God the Word took part of flesh and blood that we who are “partakers of flesh and blood” (Heb. 2:14,) can now become “partakers of the divine nature” (2 Peter 1:4.)  It is because God condescended to become truly man in the flesh that by faith in Jesus Christ the Father has “raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus” (Eph. 2:6, 8.)

Think about these Bible verses:

  1. Hebrews 4:3 "For we which have believed do enter into rest, ..."
  2. Ephesians 1:5 "Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,"
  3. Ephesians 1:9 "Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:"
  4. Philippians 2:13 "For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure."

The Bible refers to this amazing miracle of transformation, from a defiled sinner to a perfect man or woman in Christ, as being "born again" (John 3:3-8; 1 Peter 1:23); becoming a "new creature" (2 Corinthians 5:17; Galatians 6:15); a "new lump" (1 Corinthians 5:7); a "new man" (Ephesians 4:24; Colossians 3:10); a "new bottle" (Mark 2:21-22; Matthew 9:16-17; Luke 5:36-39); etc.  In this justified righteous position, being in a "yoke" together with Christ (Matthew 11:29-30), we have "put on" Christ (Romans 13:14), we are "in" Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17; Romans 8:1; 1 Peter 5:14), and are "servants to God" and "of Christ" (Romans 6:22; Ephesians 6:6)--being servants "of righteousness" (Romans 6:18-19).  As long as we remain in this justified righteous condition being "in" Christ, and do not choose to separate ourselves from Him, we continue to remain perfect and complete in Him, being doers of His will (Romans 2:13; James 1:22), and thus our salvation is assured (1 John 5:11-12).  And as long as we remain in Christ, we continue to remain part of God's true church.

"Just here is a point on which many may err, and hence they fail of receiving the help that Christ desires to give themThey think that they cannot come to Christ unless they first repent, and that repentance prepares for the forgiveness of their sins. It is true that repentance does precede the forgiveness of sins; for it is only the broken and contrite heart that will feel the need of a Saviour. But must the sinner wait till he has repented before he can come to Jesus? Is repentance to be made an obstacle between the sinner and the Saviour?

The Bible does not teach that the sinner must repent before he can heed the invitation of Christ, "Come unto Me, all ye that labor and are heavy-laden, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28. It is the virtue that goes forth from Christ, that leads to genuine repentance. Peter made the matter clear in his statement to the Israelites when he said, "Him hath God exalted with His right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins." Acts 5:31. We can no more repent without the Spirit of Christ to awaken the conscience than we can be pardoned without Christ." { SC 26.2}

Christ is the source of every right impulse. He is the only one that can implant in the heart enmity against sin. Every desire for truth and purity, every conviction of our own sinfulness, is an evidence that His Spirit is moving upon our hearts.

Jesus has said, "I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto Me." John 12:32. Christ must be revealed to the sinner as the Saviour dying for the sins of the world; and as we behold the Lamb of God upon the cross of Calvary, the mystery of redemption begins to unfold to our minds and the goodness of God leads us to repentance. In dying for sinners, Christ manifested a love that is incomprehensible; and as the sinner beholds this love, it softens the heart, impresses the mind, and inspires contrition in the soul.

HOW can I know it's Jesus? How can I know it's Him? When Jesus comes in the clouds of Heaven, that's how I'll know it's Him:

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 (King James Version)

"16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."

Notice how we will be "caught up" in the clouds with Jesus? His feet do NOT touch the ground.

"24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, whoso readeth, let him understand: 24:16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: 24:17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: 24:18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. 24:19And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! 24:20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. 24:23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 24:25 Behold, I have told you before.

24:26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. 24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.24:28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

Bible Icon 48x48pxThe Bible says in Colossians 3:10-17 (King James Version)

"10And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

11Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

 12Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

13Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

14And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

15And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

16Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

17And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him."

Woven in Heaven's loom

"Only the covering which Christ Himself has provided can make us meet to appear in God's presence. This covering, the robe of His own righteousness, Christ will put upon every repenting, believing soul.. . . .This robe, woven in the loom of heaven, has in it not one thread of human devising. Christ in His humanity wrought out a perfect character, and this character He offers to impart to us. . . . .Everything that we of ourselves can do is defiled by sin. But the Son of God "was manifested to take away our sins; and in Him is no sin." . . . . By His perfect obedience He has made it possible for every human being to obey God's commandments. When we submit ourselves to Christ, the heart is united with His heart, the will is merged in His will, the mind becomes one with His mind, the thoughts are brought into captivity to Him; we live His life. This is what it means to be clothed with the garment of His righteousness. Then as the Lord looks upon us He sees, not the fig-leaf garment, not the nakedness and deformity of sin, but His own robe of righteousness, which is perfect obedience to the law of Jehovah." (COL - 311)

This is such an important point to "get". Here is another example to hopefully make it crystal clear:

Which house do YOU want to live in?

Spooky House clipartCastle - Vendor: Clipart.com
Two Houses:
Old house=old selfish sinful nature inherited from Adam.

New mansion=new selfless sinless nature inherited from Jesus.

The Old house is the one you were born in, and will be destroyed. The shiny new Mansion is one you get when you BELIEVE in JESUS. Keep believing in Jesus or you will have to move back to the old house. Plan to live in your new shiny mansion in HEAVEN now, and you will. Get your suitcase packed and ready for Heaven now. Jesus is coming SOON to get those who believe in Him. The first thing you pack in your suitcase for your trip to Heaven, is YOUR BELIEF IN JESUS. Simple as that. God does the rest. Just cooperate with him so you don't frustrate His grace thru a preverse will. Pray to God, "LORD, take me as wholly thine". Surrender your soul to Jesus keeping and your life to his ordering, and you will be SAFE in the arms of Jesus.

Dictionary meaning of Preverse: Showing a deliberate and obstinate desire to behave in a way that is unreasonable or unacceptable, often in spite of the consequences.

It is true that men sometimes become ashamed of their sinful ways, and give up some of their evil habits, before they are conscious that they are being drawn to Christ. But whenever they make an effort to reform, from a sincere desire to do right, it is the power of Christ that is drawing them. An influence of which they are unconscious works upon the soul, and the conscience is quickened, and the outward life is amended. And as Christ draws them to look upon His cross, to behold Him whom their sins have pierced, the commandment comes home to the conscience. The wickedness of their life, the deep-seated sin of the soul, is revealed to them. They begin to comprehend something of the righteousness of Christ, and exclaim, "What is sin, that it should require such a sacrifice for the redemption of its victim? Was all this love, all this suffering, all this humiliation, demanded, that we might not perish, but have everlasting life?"

Are YOU in JAIL with Satan or FREE with God?

Freedom=NEW selfless sinless nature inherited from Jesus:

Only Believe in JESUS and YOU WILL BE FREE from SIN.

Bible Icon 32x32pxJohn 3:4 (King James Version) "Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law."

Romans 6:23 (King James Version)"23For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Galatians 5:1 "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery."

Dictionary meaning of Preverse: Showing a deliberate and obstinate desire to behave in a way that is unreasonable or unacceptable, often in spite of the consequences.

The same divine mind that is working upon the things of nature is speaking to the hearts of men and creating an inexpressible craving for something they have not. The things of the world cannot satisfy their longing. The Spirit of God is pleading with them to seek for those things that alone can give peace and rest--the grace of Christ, the joy of holiness. Through influences seen and unseen, our Saviour is constantly at work to attract the minds of men from the unsatisfying pleasures of sin to the infinite blessings that may be theirs in Him. To all these souls, who are vainly seeking to drink from the broken cisterns of this world, the divine message is addressed, "Let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely." Revelation 22:17.

One More Example:

All our "good" works are as filthy rags.

Freedom=NEW selfless sinless nature inherited from Jesus:

Only Believe in JESUS and YOU WILL BE FREE from SIN.

Romans 6:23 (King James Version)"23For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

All our good deed or "works" are as filthy rags.

In Isaiah 64:6, the prophet makes that statement about the righteousness of Israel (God's Invisible truth and Spirit Filled People) saying, "We are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are as filthy rags." UNTIL we BELIEVE. Then we rest from our works, and Jesus works through us. We are ambassadors for Christ and His Kingdom. Jesus is OUR King, and He gives us the power to do His perfect Will.

Hebrews 4:3 "For we which have believed do enter into rest, ..."

To be righteous is to be right with God. To be right with God comes by accepting both Christ's grace (believing in Jesus and having the VERY LIFE of JESUS fill us INSTANTLY) and by obeying his commandments, following his teachings and doing the will of the Father. Suffer the little children to come unto me and forbid them not; for unto such is the kingdom of Heaven. We need to be like little children; teachable, trusting with love in our Heavenly Father, just as our children trust and love us.

I die daily, means to surrender our will and our lives to Jesus. CHOOSE JESUS each moment of the day...cry to Jesus and ask Him for help not to sin; say "Help me, Jesus!" and He will. Say, "my life is yours, do with me as you will". It works. Only Believe! Our battle is to believe, and KEEP believing. Then we do His works, not ours. Faith without works is dead....but not our works, HIS! We should empty ourself of self. Almost everything we do is for self. Think about it. When Jesus comes in we work for Him. Faith without works is dead....

How Christians Grow

Of course, newly born Christians are still, in the words of Peter, "like newborn babies." They must "crave pure spiritual milk" to give them nourishment to mature spiritually (1 Peter 2:2).

Peter explains that born-again Christians will continue to grow in understanding through time, becoming more mature spiritually. They will "grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" (2 Peter 3:18).

God in Us

Christ lives in us fully through the Spirit if we are reborn spiritually.Baby Boy Crawling Clip Art

Think what this means. Humans can be transformed by the act of Christ living his life by the Spirit in them. God shares his divine

nature with humans. That means a person who is a Christian has been made into something entirely new.

"If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation," Paul explained. "The old has gone, the new has come!"

Christians reborn of the Spirit take on a new image within—that of God our creator. Their life is to exhibit this new internal spiritual reality. That is why Paul could tell Christians: "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind" (Romans 12:2).

You who in heart long for something better than this world can give, recognize this longing as the voice of God to your soul. Ask Him to give you repentance, to reveal Christ to you in His infinite love, in His perfect purity. In the Saviour's life the principles of God's law--love to God and man--were perfectly exemplified. Benevolence, unselfish love, was the life of His soul. It is as we behold Him, as the light from our Saviour falls upon us, that we see the sinfulness of our own hearts.

We may have flattered ourselves, as did Nicodemus, that our life has been upright, that our moral character is correct, and think that we need not humble the heart before God, like the common sinner: but when the light from Christ shines into our souls, we shall see how impure we are; we shall discern the selfishness of motive, the enmity against God, that has defiled every act of life. Then we shall know that our own righteousness is indeed as filthy rags, and that the blood of Christ alone can cleanse us from the defilement of sin, and renew our hearts in His own likeness.

One ray of the glory of God, one gleam of the purity of Christ, penetrating the soul, makes every spot of defilement painfully distinct, and lays bare the deformity and defects of the human character. It makes apparent the unhallowed desires, the infidelity of the heart, the impurity of the lips. The sinner's acts of disloyalty in making void the law of God, are exposed to his sight, and his spirit is stricken and afflicted under the searching influence of the Spirit of God. He loathes himself as he views the pure, spotless character of Christ." { SC 26.2}

In John 8:12, 9:5 Jesus said that He was the light. In John 12:46 He says, "I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness."

As Ephesians 3:11-12 states: " According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him."

Galatians 4:4 "But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons."

Acts 3:19 (KJV) "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord."

Psalm 112:1 "Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments."

Matthew 25:34 "Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:"

We must never forget that it was our God who initiated our rescue, who reached out to us. "All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself" (2 Cor. 5:18). And He continues to reach out to us today. When we accept His merciful invitation, we walk in the certainty of salvation guaranteed by His death and resurrection.

Jesus came, not to appease, but to cancel guilt and cleanse sinners. In no sense is this bribery of God or adroit footwork to meet some sort of personal demand. Instead, it was a calculated divine plan of which Paul said, "This was to show God's righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins; it was to prove at the present time that he himself is righteous and that he justifies him who has faith in Jesus" (Rom. 3:25, 26). In other words, rather than responding to God's demand, it was done at God's initiative.

The Bible teaches that it is only "in" and "through" Jesus Christ that we find the truth (John 14:6); that we become part of the New Covenant (2 Corinthians 3:13-18); that we find redemption (Romans 3:24; Ephesians 1:7); that we are justified (Acts 13:39); that we become righteous (Jeremiah 23:6; 2 Corinthians 5:21); that we have peace with God (Romans 5:1; Philippians 4:7; Colossians 1:20); that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18); that God shows us His kindness (Ephesians 2:7); that we receive grace (2 Timothy 2:1; Ephesians 2:7); that we receive the Holy Spirit (Titus 3:6); that we become wise (1 Corinthians 4:10); that we become alive and live (Romans 6:11; Philippians 1:21; 1 John 4:9; John 14:6); that God works in us (Hebrews 13:21); that we are sanctified (1 Corinthians 1:2); that we are made perfect (Colossians 1:28); that we can do all things (Philippians 4:13); that we gain the victory (1 Corinthians 15:57); that we triumph over sin (2 Corinthians 2:14); that we can remain faithful (Ephesians 1:1); that we can be preserved in sanctification (Jude 1:1); that we become the children and heirs of God (Galatians 4:7); that we can joy and glory in God (Romans 5:11; 15:17); that we receive spiritual blessings (Ephesians 1:3); that we become rich (2 Corinthians 8:9); and that we can sit in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6)!  Thus it is only in and through Jesus Christ that we can escape from the wrath of God (Romans 5:9); that we will be resurrected if we should die before Christ returns (John 11:25); that we find our salvation and will be saved (2 Timothy 2:10; John 10:9, 3:17); and that we find eternal life (2 Timothy 1:1; Romans 6:23; 1 John 5:11-12)!  That is why OUR ONLY HOPE IS FOUNDED SOLELY IN AND THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST (1 Thessalonians 1:3), because anything and everything which is good in us comes only through Him (Philemon 6)!

Now, read this famous Bible verse slowly, word for word. Don't skip over it. It is the gospel in miniature: The Bible says in John 3:16 (KJV) "

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

"This is
life eternal, that they might know thee the only true Godand Jesus Christ, whom thou has sent."  John 17:3.  Personally accept God's promise of John 1:12, "As many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name."
Hebrews 4:4 (ISV), "For the one who enters God's rest has himself rested from his own works, just as God did from his.”  Romans 8:15 "For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba [Daddy], Father."

GOD's power, His life, He Himself is here, even though I cannot see Him. This is what He promises in His word:

Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. (John 14:23)

(See also 1 Cor. 6:17,19; 2 Cor. 6:16; Acts 17:27,28).

Can you see how great are these two blessings are which God has given to us?

1. He has given His own, only begotten son to die for us so that we can be saved from the penalty of everlasting death. How wonderful it is that such a person could love us so much. Surely we ought to love Him and serve Him in return!

2. He Himself and His blessed Son will live with us if we choose to give our lives to Him. He will be our best Friend. Our close, constant Companion. We can be the friends of the Almighty God. He, Himself, personally will be with us always and forever. Are YOU a FRIEND of GOD? Can GOD call you HIS FRIEND?

Hebrews 8:10, “For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel…says the Lord: I will put My Laws into their mind and write them in their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

  1. Matthew 6:33 "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Even in this life it is not for our good to depart from the will of our Father in heaven. When we learn the power of His word, we shall not follow the suggestions of Satan in order to obtain food or to save our lives. Our only questions will be, What is God's command? and what His promise? Knowing these, we shall obey the one, and trust the other. Learn more about the power of God's Word here.
  2. Malachi 3:6 (KJV) "For I am the LORD, I change not;
  3. Matthew 5:18 "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled."
  4. Isaiah 40:8 "The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever."
  5. Psalms 119:89 "For ever, O LORD, your word is settled in heaven."
  6. Psalm 119:160 "All your words are true; all your righteous laws are eternal."'
  7. Psalm 119:88 "Preserve my life according to your love, and I will obey the statutes of your mouth."
  8. Psalm 119:152 "Long ago I learned from your statutes that you established them to last forever."
  9. Galatians 3:21 "Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, truly righteousness should have been by the law."
Jesus while referring to the Ten Commandments also used these straightforward and easy to understand words. In John 14:15, He quotes from the second of the Ten Commandments, “If you love me, keep my Commandments.” and in John 15:10, “If you keep my Commandments, you shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's Commandments, and abide in his love.” Jesus obeyed the Fathers Commandments and He asks us to demonstrate our love for Him by doing the same. We also find in 1 John 2:4, “He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his Commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.” The words of this last verse are something to consider very seriously. For instance. What are the implications of not observing the Ten Commandments considering that Jesus and the Word are truth? John 14:6; 17:17.

All Commandments show our allegiance but the fourth is a special SIGN of loyalty that we may know we truly love and follow God as His people. We are also children of Israel as is Abraham. Galatians 3:29 “And if you be Christ’s, then are you Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” We are and need to be children of Israel as both covenants were made with the house of Israel. Hebrews 8:10, “For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel…says the Lord: I will put My Laws into their mind and write them in their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.” See alsoRomans 2:28-29Romans 9:6-81 Corinthians 10:18Galatians 6:16 and Daniel 70 weeks.

Should we ask God or people for answers?
The Bible says in Isaiah 2:22 “Stop trusting in man, who has but a breath in his nostrils. Of what account is he?” God says in Jeremiah 33:3 KJV “Jeremiah 33:3 (KJV) "Call unto Me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not." Matthew 7:8 For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. Mark 11:24 Therefore I say to you, What things so ever you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them. Mark 11:25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins." Ask God for answers!

The Ten Commandments in the Old & New Testament Comparison Table

Comparison table of the Ten Commandments as found in the Old Testament and the Ten Commandments in the New Testament giving just one of the many examples that could be given as seen above. Note also James 2:10, “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. God inspired James to write that EVERY point of the law is essential. Not only do we find all Ten Commandments in the New Testament but we also find all the Ten Commandments covered in this one verse without quoting them individually, because according to the book of James, if someone breaks any one of them, he is guilty of breaking them all.

Ten Commandments in the Old TestamentTen Commandments in the New Testament
1. “You shall have no other gods before me.”Exodus 20:31. “You shall worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.”Matthew 4:10
2. “You shall not make unto you any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: You shall not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my Commandments.” Exodus 20:4-62. “Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.” 1 Corinthians 10:14
3. “You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.” Exodus 20:73. “That the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed.”1 Timothy 6:1
4. “Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shall you labour, and do all your work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD your God: in it you shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger that is within your gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.”Exodus 20:8-114. “For somewhere he has spoken about the seventh day as follows: On the seventh day God rested from all his works, There remains, therefore, a Sabbath rest for the people of God. For the one who enters God's rest has himself rested from his own works, just as God did from his.” ISV Hebrews 4:4, 9-10. See solid New Testament basis for Sabbath Keeping below.
5. “Honour your father and your mother: that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God giveth you.” Exodus 20:125. “Honour your father and your mother.” Matthew 19:19
6. “You shall not kill.” Exodus 20:136. “You shall not kill.” Romans 13:9
7. “You shall not commit adultery.” Exodus 20:147. “You shall not commit adultery.”Matthew 19:18
8. “You shall not steal.” Exodus 20:158. “You shall not steal.” Romans 13:9
9. “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbour.” Exodus 20:169. “You shall not bear false witness.”Romans 13:9
10. “You shall not covet your neighbour's house, you shall not covet your neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is your neighbour's.” Exodus 20:1710. “You shall not covet.” Romans 7:7

So is the evidence conclusive that all Ten Commandments still stand or does the Bible indicate that we can now live in wilful deliberate sin? We are indeed saved by the Grace of God through faith in Christ, but is this a license to continue in sin? Did Jesus die on the cross to pay the penalty for our sin or so we could go on living in sin? What does the only source of truth that we can fully trust have to say on this very important topic that nailed our loving Saviour to the cross? The above scriptures should leave no doubt as to the answers to these questions, but just for extra clarity, here are the answers put simply and again by scripture alone while covering the main areas of confusion and deception.

First we need to know what the Bible definition of sin is. 1 John 3:4. So where there is sin, there has to be a law. Romans 4:15. If there is no law then there can be no sin and if there is no sin then there is no need for a Saviour.

Did Paul say we can sin now that we are under Grace which would therefore prove the law was abolished? Romans 6:1-2, Romans 6:14-15.

Paul demonstrated in Galatians chapters 2, 3 and 4 and Romans 3 that no flesh is justified by the law and that righteousness comes by FAITH. Does this therefore mean that the Ten Commandments are now made null and void because of FAITH? Romans 3:31. So who is justified before God? Romans 2:13.

Did Jesus say he came to do away with the law? Matthew 5:17. Did Jesus say He was going to change the law by even so much as a single letter? Matthew 5:18, Luke 16:17. Did Jesus say we have to teach the law as well as obey it? Matthew 5:19.

Does Jesus say that those who practise lawlessness, i.e., break the Ten Commandments will enter the kingdom? Matthew 7:21-23, 1 John 2:4. So what does Jesus say that one has to do to inherit eternal life? Matthew 19:16-19.

Can we keep just nine of the Ten Commandments and are we judged by obedience to the law? James 2:10-12, Matthew 5:18, Luke 16:17.

So what are the consequences for wilful sin, i.e., wilfully disobeying even ONE of the Ten Commandments? Hebrews 10:26-29, Ephesians 5:3, 5.

What are the blessings for not living in wilful sin, i.e., obeying the Ten Commandments in loving obedience? Revelation 22:14.

The answers are indisputable and any other arguments would be in total contradiction to the words of Jesus, Paul and James just to name a few. I think Solomon summed it up well with his final conclusion in Ecclesiastes 12:13-14. "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil."

Jesus wants to share His throne with you. (Rev. 3:21) We can be "Joint heirs with Christ."—Romans 8:17, "Let NO MAN steal your crown." (Rev 3:11), Believe in Jesus, and you can have all the POWER of HEAVEN at your disposal, RIGHT NOW! Why wait? I can't think of a single reason to put off giving your heart completely to Jesus. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 2:9, "But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him." Heaven is worth WHATEVER you have to do to get there, the Bible says it's better than you can even imagine!

By believing that Jesus is God's Only Begotten Son and giving yourself/will completely to God, God GIVES you the ability to DO HIS WILL. When you ask, it will happen instantly. God speaks and it is done. God promised, He KEEPS His promises! As soon as you believe and surrender your ALL to Him, and ask for forgiveness of your sins, it is done INSTANTLY! Then our ONLY work is to keep believing that HE HAS FORGIVEN you, that HE HAS filled you with His Holy Spirit, and that you are now His completely. Throw yourself upon Jesus and cry to Him, "Save me from myself and make us lovers of truth, and that in our mouth will be found no guile." and you will be kept safe in the arms of Jesus. Jesus says, "Be not afraid, only believe". —Mark 5:36, and The Lord has said, "Blessed is the man . . . in whose spirit there is no guile." (guile also means duplicity which means deceitfulness in speech or conduct; speaking or acting in two different ways concerning the same matter with intent to deceive; double-dealing, twofold or double state or quality.)

Can you imagine? Jesus says, in John 14:12 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father." And in Matthew 10:8, "Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give." These people who can do the same kind of works that Jesus did are filled with God's Holy Spirit and are part of "God's Invisible Church"! The Bible teaches that; a. Jesus is the literal, true, only begotten Son of the one true God. b. The holy spirit is literally an extension of the very life of God the Father and Jesus, His Son.

Come now, let us be creationists and be done with it. Let us believe the Lord. He speaks forgiveness. He speaks a clean heart. He speaks holiness; He creates it. Let Him create it in you. Stop being an evolutionist and let that creative word work for you, let that creative energy work in you, that which the word pronounces, and before you finish talking to God, God can get you ready to meet Him. Indeed, in that very thing you do meet Him.

And when you have thus met Him and do thus meet Him every day, are you not then ready to meet Him? Do you believe that? You believe He made the worlds when He spoke, that light came by His word when He spoke, and that the leper was “immediately” cleansed when he spoke, but with yourself you think considerable time must elapse between the time when the word is spoken and the fact is accomplished. O, why will you be an evolutionist? Creation, creation—that is the thing.

Those who take Christ at His word, and surrender their soul to His keeping, their lives to His ordering, will find peace and quietude. Nothing of the world can make them sad when Jesus makes them glad by His presence. In perfect acquiescence there is perfect peace. DA. 331.

Give God your will. In Phil. 2:13 we read, "For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure." The right method is to make a decision to give myself away entirely to Jesus. Make a decision to abandon myself once and for all to accept Christ, instead letting Satan rule our life; ask Jesus to keep your soul. Not to choose actions (like trying to do good works), but to choose a person, Jesus. That is the right use of the will. You can choose to serve God. You can give Him your will! You can even pray, "make me willing to be made willing to give my will to God". "But God does not live in the sinner. The Word declares that He abides only in the hearts of those who love Him and do righteousness. God does not abide in the heart of the sinner; it is the enemy who abides there." Sermons and Talks, Vol. 1 Manuscript 46, 1904, MR 900, p

  1. "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. John 14:12 "Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give." “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also” (James 2:26)  Matthew 10:8 Matthew 18:15-20 18 Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. 19 Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.
  2. 1 Cor 4:20 "For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power." In 2 Cor 5:20, it says, Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. Christ in you (Luke 17:21; Col. 1:27) The two masters are Christ and Satan. Satan does not rule on the inside if God’s Spirit is in us. No one can serve two masters. We are automatically vessels for Satan until we CHOOSE to change our Master to Jesus.
  3. Jesus invites us to follow Him, but to do so we must be willing to deny self, pick up our cross, and follow Him (Luke 9:23). Consider some of the aspects of "confessing Jesus" as they relate to discipleship. Let us contemplate that solemn question as we read the next statement. Desire of Ages, p. 357:

Men may deny Christ by evilspeaking, by foolish talking, by words that are untruthful or unkind. They may deny Him by shunning life's burdens, by the pursuit of sinful pleasure. They may deny Him by conforming to the world, by uncourteous behavior, by the love of their own opinions, by justifying self, by cherishing doubt, borrowing trouble, and dwelling in darkness. In all these ways they declare that Christ is not in them.

Finding & having a relationship with God is soooo much better than winning the mega lottery! This is TRUE happiness with riches untold! Study your Bible. Learn to pray. For faster results, fast & pray! Jesus, said in Psalm 35:13, "I humbled my soul with fasting;" Remember to say as Jesus did, "Not my will, but Thine be done." Talk to God as your best friend, because He REALLY loves you. He had plans for you before He created this world. 1 Corinthians 13:2 "And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity [love], I am nothing."

May each one of us link up with Jesus. May we put our arm in His arm, and cling to Him, the mighty One, who hast said, "Let him take hold of My strength, that he may make peace with Me, and he shall make peace with Me" (Isa. 27:5). These are Thy words. Show us how, Lord, show us how to humble our proud hearts. Show us what it means to break our will before God, and to take Thy will. Help us to cast our helpless souls upon the merits of a crucified and risen Saviour. May God and Jesus sent before us eternal life.

In comparison with the millions of the world, God's people will be, as they have ever been, a little flock; but if they stand for the truth as revealed in His word, God will be their refuge. They stand under the broad shield of Omnipotence. God is always a majority. When the sound of the last trump shall penetrate the prison house of the dead, and the righteous shall come forth with triumph, exclaiming, "O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?" (1 Corinthians 15:55)--standing then with God, with Christ, with the angels, and with the loyal and true of all ages, the children of God will be far in the majorityEGW AA P. 578

God is calling us to Him through his Only begotten Son Jesus.  Hebrews 12:28 KJV "Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:"

“My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways.” Proverbs 23:26
John 14:21 "He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them,
he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father,
and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him."

James 1:22 KJV "But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves."
Revelation 14:12 "Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God,
and the faith of Jesus." Revelation 12:17 "And the dragon (the devil) was wroth with the woman (God's Spirit Filled People), and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony (prophet) of Jesus Christ."
John 14:23 Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him." 1 John 3:24 "Those who obey his commands live in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us."
1 John 4:12 "No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us."

True doctrine is the Latter Rain, "My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass." Deuteronomy 32:2.

   "We have, as had John, a message to bear of the things which we have seen and heard. God is not giving us a new message. We are to proclaim the message that in 1843 and 1844 brought us out of the other churches. We need the Holy Spirit to kindle in our hearts the zeal and earnestness that were then seen among God's people. I thank the Lord that there are still living a few who can remember those days, and who know whereof they speak."  {RH, January 19, 1905 par. 22}

“I saw our people in great distress, weeping, and praying, pleading the sure promises of God, while the wicked were all around us, mocking us, and threatening to destroy us. They ridiculed our feebleness, they mocked at the smallness of our numbers, and taunted us with words calculated to cut deep. They charged us with taking an independent position from all the rest of the world. They had cut off our resources so that we could not buy nor sell, and referred to our abject poverty and stricken condition. They could not see how we could live without the world; we were dependent upon the world, and we must concede to the customs, practices, and laws of the world, or go out of it. If we were the only people in the world whom the Lord favored the appearances were awfully against us. They declared that they had the truth, that miracles were among them, that angels from heaven talked with them, and walked with them, that great power, and signs and wonders were performed among them, and this was the Temporal Millennium, which they had been expecting so long. The whole world was converted and in harmony with the Sunday law, and this little feeble people stood out in defiance of the laws of the land, and the laws of God, and claimed to be the only ones right on the earth.” Maranatha, 209.

If you cannot identify that you are in the Latter Rain time period, you will not realize that you have to pray and ask for the Latter Rain right now (Zechariah 10:1). Thessalonians 2:10-12. As they reject the teachings of His word, God withdraws His Spirit and leaves them to the deceptions which they love." {GC 431.1}

"When you realize that now is the time that the saints are being sealed, now is the time of refreshing when your sins are being blotted out, and now is the judgment of the living; it should change your experience (thus this Latter Rain message brings with it an experience, just as we always believed the Latter Rain would) if you have been lulled into becoming a foolish virgin, and awaken you to buy oil now before it is too late. If you do not realize that you are now in the time of the Latter Rain, through this study, then "...the latter rain... may be falling on hearts all around us, but we shall not discern or receive it." {RH, March 2, 1897 par. 4}

The Latter Rain will not be given to anyone with one spot or blemish on their character; only to those that perfectly reflect the character of Christ. Now is the time brothers and sisters. Probation closes for the Seventh-day Adventists at the Sunday Law. That is when you either receive the outpouring of the Holy Spirit without measure, or Ellen White says you are lost. So if you are waiting for the National Sunday Law to put away those last few spots or stains (not just "sins", but every trace of sin!), then you will be a foolish virgin. Remember, the foolish virgins were "virgins". They were of the true and pure church, they knew and preached and believed the straight truth, but they waited too long to put away every spot and stain on their characters, and when the (loud) cry went out, "Behold the Bridegroom Cometh, go ye out to meet Him", they were found wanting as they had not the character to take them through the time of trouble. Do you suppose Ellen White is here talking about those true believers who waited until the Sunday Law to buy oil, thinking that the (loud) cry would come at the Sunday Law, but when the Sunday Law did come, they were found wanting, because the (loud) cry, "Behold the Bridegroom Cometh" had already been falling?

"My mind was carried to the future, when the signal will be given. 'Behold, the Bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.' But some will have delayed to obtain the oil for replenishing their lamps, and too late they will find that character, which is represented by the oil, is not transferable." Review and Herald, February 11, 1896.

"The oil with which the wise virgins filled their lamps represents the Holy Spirit... Were it not that this holy oil is poured from heaven in the messages of God's Spirit, the agencies of evil would have entire control over men... God is dishonored when we do not receive the communications which he sends us. Thus we refuse the golden oil which he would pour into our souls to be communicated to those in darkness." Review and Herald, July 20, 1897.

The next event is the Sunday Law and the close of your probation. There are no more warnings to look out for before you perfect your character in Jesus. At the Sunday Law, the Loud Cry goes forth with unmeasured power, and you will either give that cry or be lost. And NOW is the time God is choosing and sealing those without spot or blemish to give that Loud Cry. (SDA'S Only="For to whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required:" Luke 12:48)

If the Latter Rain message is now upon us, then it must be salvational to us whether or not we accept it and live it. Ellen White says we receive the Latter Rain or we are lost, "If we do not progress, if we do not place ourselves in an attitude to receive both the former and the latter rain, we shall lose our souls, and the responsibility will lie at our own door." {TM 507.2}

"Men cannot with impunity reject the warning which God in mercy sends them. A message was sent from heaven to the world in Noah's day, and their salvation depended upon the manner in which they treated that message. Because they rejected the warning, the Spirit of God was withdrawn from the sinful race, and they perished in the waters of the Flood... Looking down to the last days, the same Infinite Power declares, concerning those who "received not the love of the truth, [we should pray for God to give us a love for truth!] that they might be saved": "For this cause God shall send them strong delusion, thatthey should believe a lie: that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness." 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12. As they reject the teachings of His word, God withdraws His Spirit and leaves them to the deceptions which they love." {GC 431.1}

Like the Jews, who offered their useless sacrifices, they offer up their useless prayers to the apartment which Jesus has left; and Satan, pleased with the deception, assumes a religious character, [god the Holy Spirit of the unscriptural trinity god?] and leads the minds of these professed Christians to himself, working with his power, his signs and lying wonders, to fasten them in his snare." Early Writings, 259-261.

"I was shown what did take place in heaven at the close of the prophetic periods in 1844. As Jesus ended His ministration in the holy place and closed the door of that apartment, a great darkness settled upon those who had heard and rejected the message of His coming, and they lost sight of Him." Early Writings, 251.

If they never repented of this, and never went back to search out the meaning of the sanctuary in Daniel 8:14, and all its implications, eventually Ellen White says they fell away, as Satan answered the prayers of those who stayed in the Holy Place, "I turned to look at the company who were still bowed before the throne; they did not know that Jesus had left it. Satan appeared to be by the throne, trying to carry on the work of God. I saw them look up to the throne, and pray, "Father, give us Thy Spirit." [could this be one of the triangle trinity gods "god the Holy Spirit" that so many pray to today?] "Satan would then breathe upon them an unholy influence; in it there was light and much power, but no sweet love, joy, and peace. Satan's object was to keep them deceived and to draw back and deceive God's children." {EW 56.1}

Please bear in mind what Ellen White says about the Midnight Cry, "At this I raised my eyes and saw a straight and narrow path, cast up high above the world. On this path the Advent people were traveling to the city, which was at the further end of the path. They had a bright light set up behind them at the first end of the path, which an angel told me was the Midnight Cry... Others rashly denied the light behind them, and said that it was not God that had led them out so far [saying the God who inspired Ellen White worshiped was false, and so changed to the new popular unscriptural Trinity god? ("new truth is not independent of the old, but an unfolding of it. It is only as the old truths are understood that we can comprehend the new." Christ's Object Lessons, 128.)]. The light behind them went out, leaving their feet in perfect darkness, and they stumbled and got their eyes off the mark, and lost sight of Jesus, and fell off the path down into the dark and wicked world below."

"The time of test is just upon us, for the loud cry of the third angel has already begun in the revelation of the righteousness of Christ, the sin-pardoning Redeemer. This is the beginning of the light of the angel whose glory shall fill the whole earth." {RH, November 22, 1892 par. 7}

Please note that she calls this time period (before the Sunday Law) "The time of test". This is important because I would like to suggest that since 9/11, since the angel of Rev 18:1-3 has been sprinkling the Latter Rain (with measure), it has been a time of test for Seventh-day Adventists. And what we are tested on, is if we accept and live the Latter Rain message, just as the Adventists were tested on the Latter Rain message of Jones and Waggoner leading up to 1888. To be honest with you, even if, at the end of this limited study, (check study out here) you cannot clearly see the relevance of Sept 11th, surely this study has provided enough evidence to show that the Latter Rain, Loud Cry and Sealing begin before the Sunday Law. So if you agree with me that the Sunday Law is right around the corner, surely these events are happening now, whether they started on Sept 11th or at some time subsequent to that - they have started. And what does that mean to you personally?

When you realize that now is "the times of refreshing" when your sins are being "blotted out" (Acts 3:19), not at some future point, after the Sunday Law (so don't think that when you see the agitation for the Sunday Law you can start to get ready!), when you will awake and buy oil, supposedly before the Loud Cry goes out. Now is the time that the Lord is sealing His people, and He is now choosing those that will receive the Latter Rain without measure at the Sunday Law, by sealing those that now have no spot or stain on their characters. Who is and who is not to receive the Latter Rain is not decided from the Sunday Law onwards. When the Sunday Law is passed, all those who have lived the Latter Rain message (which must come before the Sunday Law) will receive the outpouring of the Latter Rain without measure, while Ellen White says the rest are lost. Don't be a foolish virgin who wakes up at the Sunday Law, when the Loud Cry goes forth with power, when it is too late for Christ to develop your character.

NOW is the time brothers and sisters. If the Sunday Law was passed today, and you knew your probation was closed, in that you have no more opportunity to develop your character (as Ellen White says), what would you say? If your probation REALLY closed today. All the years you might have believed that "one day" you will quit that "little" sin. And every day you "know" you will be eventually making it to heaven, you just need to quit that little sin; maybe tomorrow. But now, imagine your probation has closed on you, because you waited for the Sunday Law before you would fully submit, would you cry out, "If only I had 6 more months!! I would put every effort into submitting myself daily to Christ, and in 6 months I could be ready!" Well, don't wake up one day when you are already hearing about a Sunday Law, and cry that cry. Because it may be too late. Your probation closes at the Sunday Law.

NOW, RIGHT NOW, BELIEVE! ASK for HELP FROM GOD! NOW is the time when you have that proverbial "6 months" to put every impulse into daily submission to Christ. THIS INSTANT, YOUR SINS CAN BE GONE, THE SPOT WHERE THE SIN WAS CAN BE FILLED THIS INSTANT WITH JESUS. JESUS CAN BE SHINING OUT OF YOUR LIFE. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS TO BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF THE LIVING GOD OF HEAVEN! THE PEOPLE WHO ARE FILLED WITH GOD AND JESUS HOLY SPIRIT WILL BE SINLESS. REMEMBER GOD AND SATAN DO NOT LIVE IN THE SAME VESSEL (OUR BODY). WE CAN NEVER TRUST OURSELF. WE MUST CRY TO JESUS, OUR BROTHER AND OUR SAVIOUR, TO SAVE US FROM OURSELVES. PUT YOUR TRUST ONLY IN JESUS, HE WILL LEAD US TO GOD.

Whenever temptation comes upon you unexpectedly, remove yourself, your eyes, your thoughts immediately from that temptation, and immediately shoot up that prayer of faith, "Dear Heavenly Father/Daddy, please take away these sinful thoughts" or whatever may be tempting you - that craving will miraculously and mysteriously disappear. It is the mystery of godliness. You may have to pray a dozen times in one hour, but I promise you, a few days of this, and a few weeks of this, and a few months of this will have you a changed person, until the cravings are not so strong at all, eventually disappearing completely, and your nature has been changed.

Ellen White said even our sinful tendencies can be changed, so we have no tendency to sin. Read and pray about Christ; in His ministry, in His temple, and perhaps most of all in His prophecies. When your probation closes, you will not be saying, "I wish I got that fitted kitchen after all." Or "I wish I spent more time in the office", "I wish I worked harder and could have afforded to go on that cruise." The only wish any of us will have is that we spent more time in prayer to God, pleading for His holy Spirit, for His Latter Rain in the time of the Latter Rain. Don't be among the foolish virgins who wake up at the Sunday Law and say, "The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved". Rather look to Christ and when He comes for you and hear Him say, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord." And reply to Him, "Surely this is our God; we waited and trusted in Him, and He saved us".

The four winds are finally, fully released at the close of human probation, however they are released progressively. As we draw closer to the close of our probation, you will begin to see in the news the four winds getting ready to blow again. Do we see this with the stand-off between Iran and America now? All last day events are progressive, e.g. the Sunday Law, the healing of the deadly wound, the latter rain, the judgment, the close of probation, the call out from Babylon, the increase of knowledge, the formation of the image to the beast, the sealing, the Loud Cry (which "swells"), the time of trouble, ("...the time of trouble, which is to increase until the end...)." {CCh 336.5}

An angel returning from the earth announces that his work is done; the final test has been brought upon the world, and all who have proved themselves loyal to the divine precepts have received "the seal of the living God." Then Jesus ceases His intercession in the sanctuary above. He lifts His hands and with a loud voice says, "It is done." . . . When He leaves the sanctuary, darkness covers the inhabitants of the earth. In that fearful time the righteous must live in the sight of a holy God without an intercessor...[where is the "trinity god" here?] As the angels of God cease to hold in check the fierce winds of human passion, all the elements of strife will be let loose. The whole world will be involved in ruin more terrible than that which came upon Jerusalem of old. Those only who have clean hands and pure hearts will stand in that trying time... Now is the time, while the four angels are holding the four winds, to make our calling and election sure. {Mar 265}

So Ellen White said that the angel of Rev 18 had already started the Loud Cry, before the Sunday Law had passed in the 1888 time period. She also says that the Latter Rain had already started to fall, before any Sunday Law was passed in America, "Let us, with contrite hearts, pray most earnestly that now, in the time of the latter rain, the showers of grace may fall upon us. At every meeting we attend, our prayers should ascend that at this very time, God will impart warmth and moisture to our souls. As we seek God for the Holy Spirit, it will work in us meekness, humbleness of mind, a conscious dependence upon God for theperfecting latter rain." {RH, March 2, 1897 par. 7}

The reception of the latter rain has specific spiritual requirements. No one receives the seal of God that has one spot or stain upon his character. Before the Sunday law sin must be forever overcome by those that will participate in the outpouring of the Latter Rain. The period of time when the Latter Rain begins to sprinkle (which precedes the full outpouring at the Sunday Law) is the time when the sealing of the 144,000 beginsIt is the time when we fully settle into the truth, just prior to the Sunday Law test. So just as the Latter Rain and Loud Cry had begun in the 1888 time period, so too had the sealing. "...just as soon as God's people are sealed and prepared for the shaking, it will come. Indeed, it has begun already..." Maranatha, 200.

"The oil with which the wise virgins filled their lamps represents the Holy Spirit... Were it not that this holy oil is poured from heaven in the messages of God's Spirit, the agencies of evil would have entire control over men... God is dishonored when we do not receive the communications which he sends us.Thus we refuse the golden oil which he would pour into our souls to be communicated to those in darkness." 2 Corinthians 11:31 "The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knoweth that I lie not."

Welcome! John 13:35 "By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have LOVE for one another."

Luke 6:40 "A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone who is perfectly trained WILL BE LIKE HIS TEACHER.

God's invisible church is being made ready for giving the final Loud Cry of the three angel's messages.

Who is God's Invisible Church?

"Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world." James 1:27

"God's church is the court of Holy life, filled with varied gifts and endowed with the Holy Spirit. The members are to find their happiness in the happiness of those whom they help and bless." EGW AA1

"We are not saved as a sect (i.e. Catholic or SDA); no denominational name has ANY VIRTUE to bring us into favor with God. We are saved individually as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ." E.G. White, Review and Herald, Vol. 2, p. 464.

"God has a church. It is not the great cathedral, neither is it the national establishment, neither is it the various denominations; it is the people of God who love God and keep His commandments. 'Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them' (Matt. 18:20). Where Christ is even among the humble few, this is Christ's churchfor the presence of the High and Holy One who in inhabititeth eternity can alone constitute a church. Where two or three are present who love and obey the commandments of God, Jesus there presides, let it be in the desolate place of the earth, in the wilderness, in the city enclosed in prison walls." E.G. White, The Upward Look, 315.

"Christ does not lessen the claims of the law. In unmistakable language He presents obedience to it as the condition of eternal life—the same condition that was required of Adam before his fall. . . . The requirement under the covenant of grace is just as broad as the requirement made in Eden—harmony with God’s law, which is holy, just, and good.

The standard of character presented in the Old Testament is the same that is presented in the New Testament. This standard is not one to which we cannot attain. In every command or injunction that God gives there is a promise, the most positive, underlying the command. God has made provision that we may become like unto Him, and He will accomplish this for all who do not interpose a perverse will and thus frustrate His grace. From Devotional: Our Father Cares, p. 205.

Exodus 22:22-24 "You shall not afflict any widow or fatherless child. If you afflict them in any way, and they cry at all to Me, I will surely hear their cry; and My wrath will become hot, and I will kill you with the sword; your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless."

John 6:44 "No one can come to Me (Jesus) unless the Father (Jesus Daddy) who sent Me (Jesus) draws him; and I (Jesus) will raise him up at the last day."

No one has the ability to look into the human heart and see if a person is truly united to Christ and regenerated by the Holy Spirit. Meaning, we have asked forgiveness of our sins and believe that Jesus is God's only begotten Son, our old sinful nature is dead and buried, and we are born again, into our risen Saviour's new life; meaning God's Spirit lives in us thru our belief in Jesus; our NEW SINLESS NATURE HAS JESUS SHINING OUT OF US IN OUR THOUGHTS, WORDS, LOOKS, & ACTIONS. “But if the Spirit of him [the Father] that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” Romans 8:11

Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. (8) The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. (John 3:7-8)

"The thought that the righteousness of Christ is imputed to us, not because of any merit on our part, but as a free gift from God, is a precious thought. The enemy of God and man is not willing that this truth should be clearly presented; for he knows that if the people receive it fully, his power will be broken." {RH, December 24, 1908 par. 2}

In Matthew 6:24 KJV says "No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon." Only one master can live on the inside of a person, one master is either Christ, or the other master is Satan. Not both at the same time. “He that commiteth sin is of the devil, for the devil sinneth from the beginning .” (1 John 3:8)

“Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.” (1 John 3:9)

We cannot have our old selfish sinful nature and our new self-less sin-free nature, enabled only by BELIEVING in God’s GIFT to US in His Only Son JESUS Christ ruling at the same time. This is the absolute teaching of the word of God, your old sinful spirit must die before God’s Spirit thru Christ can live in us. With the indwelling Spirit of God in us, replacing the selfish sin filled spot thru belief in Jesus, God's Only Begotten Son. John 3:16 is so true. It is "the Gospel in miniature" Read it again!

"But God does not live in the sinner. The Word declares that He abides only in the hearts of those who love Him and do righteousness. God does not abide in the heart of the sinner; it is the enemy who abides there." Sermons and Talks, Vol. 1 Manuscript 46, 1904, MR 900, p 343.

This is the truth, brothers and sisters. Men do not overcome sin because they try hard to do what is right. They do not gain the victory by striving and struggling against temptation.

“For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.” (Rom 7:18)

Such methods are vain and frustrating. They can never lead to victory, because we cannot resist our natures. The only hope is that we may receive a new nature or a new life and this is what God gives us when He gives us His Holy Spirit. It is His own nature, His own perfect life which cannot be touched by sin.

Ellen G. White,in her book The Desire Of Ages, actually teaches that the entire earthly ministry of Christ was marked by a constant struggle on His part to avoid sinning.” Ellen White teaches that His refusal to commit sin was due to the enabling grace of God, rather than to the Impeccability of His Person.”

“Our Lord was tempted as man is tempted. He was capable of yielding to temptations, as are human beings.” (Ellen G. White, MS 57, Diary 1890, ‘The Humiliation of Christ’, Volume 16 MR No. 1211)

“If he did not have man's nature, he could not be our example. If he was not a partaker of our nature, he could not have been tempted as man has been. If it were not possible for him to yield to temptation, he could not be our helper. It was a solemn reality that Christ came to fight the battles as man, in man's behalf. His temptation and victory tell us that humanity must copy the Pattern; man must become a partaker of the divine nature.” (Ellen G. White, Review & Herald 18th February 1890, ‘How to meet a controverted point of doctrine’)

2 Peter 1:4 "Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust."

Consider this: WHAT IF Jesus had sinned? The Bible says the wages of sin is death. He could not have risen again, and we would have: NO HOPE! What a Gift God has given us! God gave His ALL for us. Should we not accept His Gift of Jesus precious blood?

"The very first step in approaching God is to know and believe the love that He has to us (1 John 4:16); for it is through the drawing of His love that we are led to come to Him.

The perception of God's love works the renunciation of selfishness. In calling God our Father, we recognize all His children as our brethren. We are all a part of the great web of humanity, all members of one family. In our petitions we are to include our neighbors as well as ourselves. No one prays aright who seeks a blessing for himself alone." EGW, MB Chapter "The Lord's Prayer"

“For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” (Rom 8:2)  "And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God."—Revelation 14:5."And I saw . . them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God."—Revelation 15:2.

By letting go of humanity entirely, and trusting only in Christ. It is not our flesh which needs to change, but our spirit or our mind. What we need is God's spirit living in us because of our belief in Jesus our Saviour. So can we see? If what we need is a new spirit, where shall we obtain it? Shall we create it? Shall we develop it? Shall we produce it by a lifetime of effort? No, no, no! The Bible says that we can receive it ONLY as a gift from God.

For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. (Rom 6:14)

Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. (1 John 3:9)

Can you see the wonder of it brethren? In one stroke, simply by receiving the perfect life and existence of Jesus Christ, we enter into a relationship with God where we are given the gift of perfect righteousness and a perfect life!! All the barriers between us and God are totally removed. There is not a single reason why God should not listen to and respond to our prayers. In Jesus we have literally and truly partaken of the very life of God Himself! (1 Cor. 6:17,19). We have been made partakers of the divine nature and it is no wonder that the Bible says that we are “joint-heirs with Jesus.” (Rom. 8:17)

2 Peter 1:4 "Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine naturehaving escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust."

In addition to these texts and many others, the testimony of the apostles of Christ was that they did live victorious lives. They were not slaves to sin, but conquered it in the strength of Christ. Paul could say,

“For I know nothing against myself, yet I am not justified by this; but He who judges me is the Lord. (1 Cor 4:4, NKJV).

In his final moments he could say,

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: (2 Tim 4:7)

It is true that nobody can overcome sins unless he is aware that his actions are wrong, and the Bible makes it plain that God does not consider us to be guilty in performing wrong actions if we truly believe that in doing these actions we are doing God's will. True Christians may, and do commit sin unknowingly, however, such sins are not imputed to them and these sins do not make them rebels or sinners in God's eyes.

For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. (Rom 5:13)

However, it is certainly the will and purpose of the righteous God that all His children should immediately overcome every known sin and then walk continuously in that life of perfect victory as long as they live.

When a Christian today suggests that it is possible to live without committing sin, one of the first questions he is likely to be asked is, “do you know of anybody who is perfect? Have you overcome sin?” Inevitably, all he can do is hang his head and confess that though the Bible says that it is possible, he has not found the way and he knows of nobody who has found the way. Oh what a smear on the name of our God and the gospel of His Son Jesus Christ!
The apostle Paul (and all of us) encountered the power of that disease and found out how helpless he was to resist and overcome it. His testimony was,

For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. (Rom 7:14)

I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. (Rom 7:21)

But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. (Rom 7:23)

Here he acknowledges that he was a slave, helpless, chained, ruled by another master named “sin,” having no power to control his own actions. This is our heritage, our destiny as the seed of Adam.

When we recognize the utter depravity of our Adamic nature, when we see our utter helplessness and worthlessness, then we will turn away from all self-effort, all self-dependence. Then we will truly repent, not just of our sins, but of the root of our sin problem – our master Satan inspired selfish life. (Satan is our Master UNTIL we CHOOSE to BELIEVE and GIVE our WILLS to JESUS.

We will then understand and believe that our only hope of ever living right lies in God's gift alone. All self-effort will be abandoned and we will cast ourselves upon Christ. It is then, and only then that true righteousness will appear in our lives as we allow Him full control, as we, by faith, accept and live by the reality that His life has become our life and that we are a part of His own righteous existence, thus we will live His perfect life. This is the truth, the simple truth of the word of God.

What a glorious truth. Oh may God help us to believe it, to know that it is nothing but the pure truth. When we believe it, not only will our lives be a revelation of the glory of God (not someday in the distant future, but this very moment) but every moment our lips and our hearts will sing the praises of God and His Son for the great, perfect and complete salvation which they have wrought for us.

You see then that there is nothing to stand in the way of God immediately healing the sick, raising the dead or manifesting the gifts of the spirit among us, as soon as we accept His gift of the righteous life of Christ. The latter rain for which we have waited so many decades is immediately at hand for those who are in Christ. It is no wonder that when this exact message came to the SDA Church in 1888, God's messenger declared,

“The time of test is just upon us, for the loud cry of the third angel has already begun in the revelation of the righteousness of Christ, the sin-pardoning Redeemer. This is the beginning of the light of the angel whose glory shall fill the whole earth. (RH, November 22, 1892 par. 7)

The question is, shall we embrace this truth with all our hearts? Will we accept in full faith, the wonderful reality that God has given us, in Jesus, the complete answer to the problem of sin? Will we acknowledge and live by the reality that it is His work and involves nothing of man's own work and that our only work/need is to believe and to keep on believing?

Words from the apostle Paul: What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith. But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness. Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone; (Rom 9:30-32)

“The religion of Christ means much more than the forgiveness of sin. It means taking away our sins, and filling the vacuum with the Holy Spirit. It means divine illumination, rejoicing in God. It means a heart emptied of self, and blessed with the abiding presence of Christ.” (Ellen G. White, Bible Training School, 1st October 1908, ‘True Worship, see also Review and Herald 10th June 1902, ‘The promise of the Spirit and Review and Herald, 12th November 1914, Preparing for Christ’s return)

This is a supernatural work, it is something totally outside of man's ability and if we desire to obtain this new mind, we must receive it as a gift from Christ, purely by faith! ONLY BELIEVE in God’s ONLY Son Jesus! John 5:44 "How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?" Seek ONLY God's favor and approval. There is absolutely no other way.

No effort of man can make a sinner into a saint, no amount of discipline can change a carnal mind into a spiritual mind. It must be the exclusive work of God thru belief in Christ to us and then back to God.

The life in Christ

All the qualities which Jesus possesses are a part of OUR life. There is no sin, there is no condemnation in Him. This life is in Christ, on the right hand of God, the place of infinite power and privilege, far above all principalities and powers. These are the qualities which are an intrinsic part of this life of Christ. We don't need to struggle to obtain these wonderful things, they are already ours, present in Christ. The one question is, whose life do we have? That is the only question. Our deliverance and victory does not depend on what we have done, but on whose life we have inherited. We are already have Satan living in us unless we CHOOSE to BELIEVE in Jesus, and receive HIS LIFE in us.

“The righteous are represented as wondering what they have done for which they are to be so liberally rewarded. They had had the abiding presence of Christ in their hearts; they had been imbued with his Spirit, and without conscious effort on their part; they had been serving Christ in the person of his saints, and had thereby gained the sure reward.” (Ellen G. The inward, effectual calling of the Spirit and the application of redemption to the human soul are all spiritual, unseen events. Further, the Holy Spirit gives genuine saving faith only to those who BELIEVE. The counterfeit faith of unregenerate professors of religion often is indiscernible to mere mortals. We can only perceive outward signs, statements and actions. Thoughts create Words, Words create Actions create Character, Character creates Destiny.

Some people who make a profession of faith and are baptized, are hypocrites. Such people do not truly believe in Christ (thus are never truly united to Him by faith) and are not part of the invisible church. Some, like a lot of us, just don't understand how faith works! Until we truly (with ALL our heart) seek God, we cannot be born again. We try to work our way to Heaven instead of BELIEVING!

But it is invisible only to us. It is not invisible to God. He who infallibly discerns the hearts of men, knows them that are his. "The foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal: 'the Lord knoweth them that are his' (II Tim. 2:19). (2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.)  "Jesus prayed for the invisible church—the elect present and not yet born in John 17.

Enabling Power

HAVE you received that gift? All who receive Him are given power to be God's children. "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." John 1:12. You belong to God. He made you. So you are also His by creation. He redeemed you. So you are His by redemption. But He will not take you by force; you must choose to be His; you must acknowledge His rights, and your relationship. When you yield to Him, then you are His. See Romans 6:16. Just the moment that you surrender your life to His guidance, that very moment He takes control. Then it is a moment-by-moment walk with God. Led by Him, you are His child. "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God." Romans 8:14.

Personal consecration is necessary, and we cannot have this unless heart holiness is cultivated and cherished.

Let your prayer be, "Take me, O Lord, as wholly Thine. I lay all my plans at Thy feet. Use me today in Thy service. Abide with me, and let all my work be wrought in Thee." This is a daily matter.

The surrender of all our powers to God greatly simplifies the problem of life. It weakens and cuts short a thousand struggles with the passions of the natural heart. Religion is as a golden cord that binds the souls of both youth and aged to Christ. Through it the willing and obedient are brought safely through dark and intricate paths to the city of God. . . .  EGW

“Therefore if any man be in Christ he is a new creature (creation)” (2 Cor. 5:17)

True proverb: 'A dog returns to his own vomit,' and, 'a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire'" (2 Pet. 2:22). A dog and a pig act according to their own nature. One can wash a pig and make it clean, but a pig is a pig. It will return to wallowing in the mud—in disgusting filth—because that is what pigs do. The apostle is saying that people who apostatize, who return to their former lifestyle, never had an interior work of the Holy Spirit. They were never regenerated and united to Christ. Their natures were never changed.

I hope you can truly say, "I finally get it! I am in Christ and His Spirit is in me revealing Christ in me. And as Paul says in Gal. 2:20, “...the life I now live I live by the faith of  the son of God who loved me and gave himself for me...for it is no longer I who live but Christ lives in me.”  This is the best news ever!"

John 4:24 "God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." John 8:32 "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." Zechariah 4:6 "Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts."

“He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.” 1 Thessalonians 4:8 Jesus said, "If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?” Luke 11:13 “But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.” Romans 8:9

"The thought that the righteousness of Christ is imputed to us, not because of any merit on our part, but as a free gift from God, is a precious thought. The enemy of God and man is not willing that this truth should be clearly presented; for he knows that if the people receive it fully, his power will be broken." {RH, December 24, 1908 par. 2}

White. Review and Herald, 3rd July 1894, ‘Parable of the laborers)

Waggoner, ‘Christ and His Righteousness’, page 23, 1890)

a. Jesus is the literal, true, only begotten Son of the one true God.

b. The holy spirit is literally an extension of the very life of God the Father and Jesus, His Son.

The first of these two truths, has made us appreciate the amazing height and depth and length and breadth of the love of God in giving His Son for us. However, it is the second of these truths which holds the key to the life of perfect victory and it is this truth which many of us have failed to fully grasp and appreciate. As Ellen White puts it,

“.... The Holy Spirit is Himself (Christ) divested of the personality of humanity and independent thereof. He would represent Himself as present in all places by His Holy Spirit, as the Omnipresent.” {14MR 23.3}

This is the text that refers to a person’s experience of conversion. It says, “A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit [ruach] will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit [ruach] within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.” Ezekiel 36:26 -27

Notice two things happening here! One is that God renews our spirit and the other is that He puts His Spirit (the Holy Spirit) within us. “Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.” John 14:17

This passage of Scripture is describing what we usually term conversion, or as we sometimes say, ‘being born again’. It is a person becoming a ‘new creature’ – or to put it another way, God dwelling within us through His Holy Spirit (see 2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 6:15, 1 Corinthians 3:16 and 1 Corinthians 6:19 etc). Note very importantly that ‘ruach’ is used to refer to both the human spirit and God’s Spirit (the Holy Spirit).

At conversion, God does not renew our ‘spark’ of life or ‘energizing principle’. He renews the ‘inner man’ (our inner person). As the apostle Paul says, “But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.” Romans 7:6 As David put it,  “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit [ruach] within me.” Psalms 51:10

“And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.” John 14:16-17

Jesus then said, “I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.” John 14:18

“Then said the Jews unto Him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast Thou seen Abraham? Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM. Then took they up stones to cast at Him" because of that saying [verses 57-59]. Christ was using the great name of God that was given to Moses to express the idea of the eternal presence.” (Ellen G. White, Manuscript No. 1084, February 18, 19th, 1895, page 21)

Two pages later we find these words

Cumbered with humanity, Christ could not be in every place personally; therefore it was altogether for their advantage that He should leave them, go to His father, and send the Holy Spirit to be His successor on earth.” (Ibid)

She then added

“The Holy Spirit is Himself divested of the personality of humanity and independent thereof. He would represent Himself as present in all places by His Holy Spirit, as the Omnipresent.” (Ibid)

The first truth teaches me that God loves me so much that He gave His Son FOR me. When I appreciate this, love for God is born in my heart. I want to serve Him, I am motivated to give my life completely to Him. The goodness of God leads me to repentance (Rom. 2:4).

The second truth teaches me that God gave His Son TO me, and that literally, the very life of His Son becomes my own life. When I understand, appreciate and believe this, total victory over sin becomes my reality!! (John 14:17; 2 Cor. 3:17; John 17:23)

I know that this is an extravagant claim, but brothers and sisters, we now hold the pearl of great price in our hands, don't we? Can there ever be any message which may truly be called a message of deliverance if it does not set us wholly free from sin's dominion? (Rom. 6:14).

Thank God, in the truth that the holy spirit is the very life of God and His Son, we have laid hold on the treasure which will bring all these realities together into perfect harmony and which will set the world alight with the glory of God!!

"Obey my voice, and I will be your God and you shall be my people, and walk in all the way that I command you" (Jer. 7:23). "Today, when you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts." (Heb. 3:15) "Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world." James 1:27

What should I do? Should I go to a church that does NOT keep ALL the commandments? "Jesus saith unto him. I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. " - John 14.6, Jesus is our Sheppard and HE WILL GUIDE US to God's Church, which is God alone. God will take the reins in HIS OWN HANDS in these last days. Study your Bible, keep the Bible Sabbath, Worship the God of the Bible. Obey the Ten Commandments. They have separated, not from the faith, but from all sin and apostasy, wherever it may be found. Follow God. Ask Him to guide you. He has a special plan just for you. Jesus said, “Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.” Mark 14:38

Are you in SYNC with God & Jesus? Is Jesus King of your life? Are you addicted to GOD? No one can come to our Heavenly Daddy except thru His SON Jesus. “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.” (1 Corinthians 2:9-11)

Remember, God is not a God of confusion. If you don't own a Bible, go buy a King James version Bible. Lot's of places even give out free Bibles. There is no excuse not to know the truth. If a church does not keep the ALL the commandments of God, the Bible says in Revelation 18:4 "Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues." This is the End Time Warning. We are living in the very last days of this earth's history. God has warned us. It's our own fault if we don't listen AND obey GOD. James 1:22 KJV "But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves."

“To hold yourselves aloof from an investigation of truth is not the way to carry out the Saviour's injunction to "search the Scriptures." (Ellen G. White, Testimonies on Sabbath School Work, 1900, page 65, ‘The Spirit of Investigation Essential’)

“The nature of the Holy Spirit is a mystery. Men cannot explain it, because the Lord has not revealed it to them.” (Ellen G. White, ‘Acts of the Apostles’ page 52, 1911)

Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. In the soon-coming conflict we shall see exemplified the prophet's words: "The dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ." Revelation 12:17 Here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus"  Rev. 14:12, Romans 15:6 “That ye may with one mind [and] one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”)

In John 1:51 Jesus said, “….Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.”

What was Jesus saying here? It is plain that He was making reference to Jacob's dream and representing Himself as the ladder which Jacob saw. What He was really saying was that there is a portal, a meeting place between heaven and earth. Where is it? It is Jesus Christ Himself. There is a place where heaven interacts with earth; there is a meeting place where God is guaranteed to meet with humanity, and Jesus says, “it is me, I am the place where angels go up and come down, I am the place where God meets with man. I am the place where divinity and humanity are guaranteed to meet, I'm the place where, when you come, every time you are guaranteed to have an audience with God. Now, today we know that the true point of contact between God and man, is Christ.

Therefore let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God, (2) instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. (Heb 6:1-2)

Have you put your hands in his hand? When you feel that God is far from you, remember his words, “ I will never leave thee or forsake thee.” Believe it because he cannot lie (Hebrew 6:18). Reach out to him and tell him you accept his hand and welcome his touch and presence. When we do, we will be able to say with surety and confidence

“He leadeth me! O blessed thought! O words with heavenly comfort fraught! Wha-e'er I do, wher-e'er I be, still ‘tis God's hand that leadeth me”

I know that what was true then is also true today. My prayer is that as we are touched and held by the Master's hand, we will reach out, touch someone else's hand, and share our experience.

Reach out and touch somebody's hand, make this world a better place if you can” Jesus did; he is our example. Think about this. Healing truly prevails when we are literally touched and are in-touch.

Ellen White predicted: "Before the final visitation of God's judgments upon the earth there will be among the people of the Lord such a revival of primitive godliness as has not been witnessed since apostolic times. The Spirit and power of God will be poured out upon His children. At that time many will separate themselves from those churches in which the love of this world has supplanted love for God and His Word. Many, both of ministers and people, will gladly accept those great truths which God has caused to be proclaimed at this time to prepare a people for the Lord's second coming. The enemy of souls desires to hinder this work; and before the time for such a movement shall come, he will endeavor to prevent it by introducing a counterfeit. In those churches which he can bring under his deceptive power he will make it appear that God's special blessing is poured out; there will be manifest what is thought to be great religious interest. Multitudes will exult that God is working marvelously for them, when the work is that of another spirit. Under a religious guise, Satan will seek to extend his influence over the Christian world" (The Great Controversy, p. 464).

"The world that Satan has claimed and has ruled over with cruel tyranny, the Son of God has, by one vast achievement, encircled in His love and connected again with the throne of Jehovah. Cherubim and seraphim, and the unnumbered hosts of all the unfallen worlds, sang anthems of praise to God and the Lamb when this triumph was assured. They rejoiced that the way of salvation had been opened to the fallen race and that the earth would be redeemed from the curse of sin. How much more should those rejoice who are the objects of such amazing love!

How can we ever be in doubt and uncertainty, and feel that we are orphans? It was in behalf of those who had transgressed the law that Jesus took upon Him human nature; He became like unto us, that we might have everlasting peace and assurance. We have an Advocate in the heavens, and whoever accepts Him as a personal Saviour is not left an orphan to bear the burden of his own sins.

"Beloved, now are we the sons of God." "And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with Him, that we may be also glorified together." "It doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is." 1 John 3:2; Romans 8:17.

The infinite God, said Jesus, makes it your privilege to approach Him by the name of Father. Understand all that this implies. No earthly parent ever pleaded so earnestly with an erring child as He who made you pleads with the transgressor. No human, loving interest ever followed the impenitent with such tender invitations. God dwells in every abode; He hears every word that is spoken, listens to every prayer that is offered, tastes the sorrows and disappointments of every soul, regards the treatment that is given to father, mother, sister, friend, and neighbor. He cares for our necessities, and His love and mercy and grace are continually flowing to satisfy our need.

But if you call God your Father you acknowledge yourselves His children, to be guided by His wisdom and to be obedient in all things, knowing that His love is changeless. You will accept His plan for your life. As children of God, you will hold His honor, His character, His family, His work, as the objects of your highest interest. It will be your joy to recognize and honor your relation to your Father and to every member of His family. You will rejoice to do any act, however humble, that will tend to His glory or to the well-being of your kindred."  EGW, MB, "The Lord's Prayer"

The apostle Paul said under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit "For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;” Romans 1:9

James 4:17 "Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin."
