For those who say, “No man knoweth the day nor the hour”!

The 42 months or 1,260 days is also known as the 3.5 years of the "LITTLE TIME OF TROUBLE". The Dark Ages WILL BE REPEATED, only in 1,260 LITERAL DAYS instead of the day for a year which occurred 538 AD to 1798 AD. The little time of trouble started March 19, 2013 when Jesuit Pope Francis the eighth and final King of the Papacy was coronated and he started his reign according to Rev 13:5. His reign lasts for 42 months or 1,260 literal days, or 3.5 years which would make it come to September 19, 2016 = but is cut short in Righteousness - History repeats itself - cut short by 25 days like the 25 years were? Would be August 5, 2016. Then the time of Jacobs trouble starts and should last for the space of 1/2 hour or 15 days, then Jesus will return. REMEMBER, time is cut short in Righteousness! So even the 42 months is cut short. PREPARE TO MEET THY GOD!

NOTE 2. PAGE 225.--THAT A WRONG USE IS OFTEN MADE OF THE TEXT (MATT. 24:36), IS EVIDENT FROM THE CONTEXT. ONE QUESTION OF THE DISCIPLES WAS CONCERNING THE SIGN OF CHRIST'S COMING AND OF THE END OF THE WORLD. THIS QUESTION JESUS ANSWERED. IN VERSE 29 HE GAVE SIGNS, AND SAID, "WHEN YE SHALL SEE ALL THESE THINGS, KNOW THAT IT IS NEAR, EVEN AT THE DOORS." VERSE 33. ONE SAYING OF THE SAVIOUR MUST NOT BE MADE TO DESTROY ANOTHER.

THOUGH NO MAN KNOWETH THE DAY NOR THE HOUR, WE ARE INSTRUCTED AND REQUIRED (FOR IT IS IN THE IMPERATIVE) TO KNOW WHEN IT IS NEAR, EVEN AT THE DOORS. AND WE ARE FURTHER TAUGHT THAT IT WILL BE AS FATAL TO US TO DISREGARD HIS WARNING, AND REFUSE OR NEGLECT TO KNOW, AS IT WAS FOR THOSE WHO LIVED IN THE DAYS OF NOAH NOT TO KNOW WHEN THE FLOOD WAS COMING. VERSES 37-39. AND VERSES 44-51 SHOW IN WHAT LIGHT CHRIST, WHEN HE COMES, WILL REGARD AND REWARD THOSE WHOM HE FINDS WATCHING AND TEACHING HIS COMING, AND THOSE DENYING IT. "BLESSED ARE THOSE SERVANTS, WHOM THE LORD WHEN HE COMETH SHALL FIND WATCHING." LUKE 12:37. p. 496, Para. 3, [4SP]  --{Spirit of Prophecy, page 496, Paragraph 3}

"What! you, a unlearned man, think to teach us, contrary to our great and learned commentators!" This, my friends, is the only argument that has ever been produced against my warnings, and proofs of God's near approach to judge the world in righteousness. And here, too, I pledge myself to show that many, and perhaps that, in many cases, a major part, of these commentators are on my side of the question. I know that, in the subject now about to be presented, this argument will be used--"O! that had reference to the Jews only;" and you will, like the wicked Jews, put far off the evil day, until you are caught in the snare, and perish in the pit. The Jews in the days of the prophets said, Ezek. 12:27, "The vision that he seeth is for many days to come, and he prophesieth of the times that are far off." You see, in this sample given us of the Jews, that the same ungodly , wicked perverting, putting off on to others what belongs to us in the visions and threatenings of God against sin, was manifestly the character of the Jews in that day, as it is in ours. The difference is only circumstantial. They put it off a great while to come; we, a great while back. They cast it forward on the backs of the Gentiles; we throw it back into the faces of the Jews. This is the wicked disposition of man in his natural state--self-righteous and self-justificatory. Therefore, use this weapon if you please; it will only discover to angels and men your true character, and God's justice in your condemnation. "He that covereth his sins shall not prosper; but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy," Prov. 28:13.  http://the2520.com/william_miller_lec.htm

Paul speaks of a class to whom the Lord’s appearing will come unawares. “The day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, ... and they shall not escape.” But he adds, to those who have given heed to the Saviour’s warning: “Ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.” 1 Thessalonians 5:2-5.{GC 371.1}
Thus it was shown that Scripture gives no warrant for men to remain in ignorance concerning the nearness of Christ’s coming. But those who desired only an excuse to reject the truth closed their ears to this explanation, and the words “No man knoweth the day nor the hour” continued to be echoed by the bold scoffer and even by the professed minister of Christ. As the people were roused, and began to inquire the way of salvation, religious teachers stepped in between them and the truth, seeking to quiet their fears by falsely interpreting the word of God. Unfaithful watchmen united in the work of the great deceiver, crying, Peace, peace, when God had not spoken peace. Like the Pharisees in Christ’s day, many refused to enter the kingdom of heaven themselves, and those who were entering in they hindered.The blood of these souls will be required at their hand{GC 372.1}

The most humble and devoted in the churches were usually the first to receive the message. Those who studied the Bible for themselves could not but see the unscriptural character of the popular views of prophecy; and wherever the people were not controlled by the influence of the clergy, wherever they would search the word of God for themselves, the advent doctrine needed only to be compared with the Scriptures to establish its divine authority{GC 372.2}
Many were persecuted by their unbelieving brethren. In order to retain their position in the churchsome consented to be silent in regard to their hopebut others felt that loyalty to God forbade them thus to hide the truths which He had committed to their trust. Not a few were cut off from the fellowship of the church for no other reason than expressing their belief in the coming of ChristVery precious to those who bore this trial of their faith were the words of the prophet: “Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for My name’s sake, said, Let the Lord be glorified: but He shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.” Isaiah 66:5.{GC 372.3}

We need to be informed and discerning like “the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do…” (1 Chronicles 12:32).
